During menopause my body went thru a big change...

During menopause my body went thru a big change and my normally plump figure ended up with a large amount of fat around my waist and hips to the point where the fat would hang over my pants. I lost weight but couldn't get rid of the fat apron and big giant belly I had. I had the procedure done 4 days ago and the first day following the procedure was a little tough. I was very nauseous, probably from the pain killers I had taken the night before. Because my stomach was upset I couldn't take anything for the pain. It wasn't unbearable and when you are walking around its ok. The rest of the time I felt very sore. The draining was constant for the first 24 hours and I had to keep changing the pads every few hours. Within 48 hours there was no draining at all. I was able to drive and go for a walk after 48 hours. I even took a shower. Today on day 4 I'm still sore and have lots of bruising and swelling but feeling a little better every day. Tomorrow I'll be seeing the Dr again and will post my first set of follow up pictures.

I'm still sore but have been able to resume all normal activities. I visited the Dr yesterday and everything is healing well. I had my first of three complimentary Venus Freeze treatments to help aid healing. The pictures I'm posting are 3 days after the surgery. You can still see that my hips are swollen but I'm very happy with how flat my abdomen is already looking.

I'm still bruised and my flanks are sore but I'm getting better everyday. I still see a lot if swelling and that's frustrating but I understand it's normal. I bought a new compression garment today because the one that I got the day of surgery is getting stretched out. I only have to wear a garment for 2 more days but it definitely makes me feel better so I'm going to continue to wear one until the soreness and swelling are gone.

Looking good, can you tell me how much you weighed prep, speedy recovery to you

I weighed 156 before surgery and weigh 153 now. I'm eating low carb and trying to diet. The Dr extracted over 2200 CC's of fat, but you have to remember they inject almost that much liquid into you during the procedure. This is NOT a weight loss surgery and I still am swollen and retaining fluid around my middle. I am seeing a slow loss of inches. This is the frustrating part and I know I have to be patient. I feel great and my stomach is much flatter but it will take several more weeks to see the results I want to see.
Sounds like things are going great so far! I hope things continue to get better. Thanks for posting pics, I hope you post some more soon. Looking forward to your updates.
