Doctors
Dr. Gargiulo has spent his entire career in medicine. Originally from Uruguay, his early background was in Plastic Surgery, where he did two years of residency at the Pasteur Hospital in Montevideo. He then continued his residency in General Surgery at Lincoln Hospital and New York Medical College. He then made the decision to transition to Anesthesia, where he was Chief Resident and completed his anesthesia residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Having practiced as a certified anesthesiologist at Southampton Hospital for twenty years, he went on to obtain his certification in Pain Management. Ever the fearless leader, he established the East End Pain Center in the early days of pain management. His relentless drive, compassion, and boundless energy led him to branch out even further. As the medical director of AgeFocus, Dr. Gargiulo has come full circle. He now devotes his skills to wellness, preventive medicine, and cosmetic surgery for the face and body. His hormone replacement therapy, customized nutrition and fitness programs, and full-body rejuvenation procedures have created die-hard fans throughout the tri-state area. Dr. G. happens to practice what he preaches. He exercises daily, follows a prudent, low-stress non-toxic lifestyle, eats a healthy low-glycemic diet, and takes the appropriate nutritional supplements. These practices, as well as hormone replacement therapy, have allowed him to reap the benefits for years.

Hair Removal
The staff at AgeFocus has amazing equipment that is virtually pain free. I noticed results by my third session! Lauren takes her time and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the entire experience. The room is clean and music keeps it zen. The entire office is inviting and has great product selections.
Great experience
I scheduled a consultation for laser hair removal at Age Focus. Felt so at ease and comfortable with Dr Gargiulo and Lauren that I decided to start the treatments that day. I did a package of 6 treatments. I've had 2 sessions already and see a HUGE difference. I just keep wondering why I didn't do this sooner!
