Soo, I usually do not write reviews but I thought I wanted to share my journey with VIP for people who are thinking about rhinoplasty, hesitating, and looking for what to expect in Korea. I also would like to thank VIP for really taking care of me like real VIP and honestly, they are the best clinic in Korea. They may not have the biggest size of the clinic, but that is why it makes them so special. It is big enough to have all kinds of all-in-one treatment, rooms, and services, yet it is still cozy and private for patients to feel like they are not undergoing surgeries in the "factory." All the staff are super friendly and professional. Even the aunties are SO NICE. They speak multi-languages so fluently! Dr.Lee and his crew seem like they are getting more recognized internationally as I have seen TONS of international patients here. I have seen a patient who travelled from the opposite side of the earth to get surgery here. So don't be afraid to go here because you are not Korean, since there was really an interesting vibe and diversity from different patients. I was really stressed about my nose. I always wanted to undergo rhinoplasty because I had a wide nose, especially my nostrils, but I initially hesitated due to potential side effects I could experience. While I was looking for the “right” clinic for myself, I thankfully found VIP Plastic Surgery Korea among many clinics that exist in Korea. The main reason I chose VIP was the time I went for the consultation, which was absolutely different vibes from other clinics. When I had consultation at other clinics, they mainly focused on the price, rather than diagnosing my nose, providing a solution, and explaining how they will perform the surgery. They honestly did not feel trustworthy to me. In other hand, VIP professionally and thoroughly explained about my case and recommended the appropriate method for my nose. I felt really comfortable discussing and asking what I concerned about and their rhinoplasty before and after photos were amazingly beautiful. Another part I want to thank them is that they have an amazing post-operation care. I was pretty worried about the pain after the surgery but they provided IV painkiller injection for 4 days so I would not feel the actual pain. My friends who went through rhinoplasty told me how painful it was for them to go through after the surgery but I really, really did not feel any pain which was amazing. The only thing I had hard time after rhinoplasty is that they put cotton inside my nose for treatment purpose. However, they also insert small breathing tubes so I can still breathe with my nose. These little details really make us feel comfortable and happy. What more to say, their complimentary skincare was truly appreciated as well.Their customer service is top-notch. I had a sore throat after my rhinoplasty so I told Mrs.Kim who is the manager and she immediately told me to stop by the clinic to get treatment and she provided Vitamin IV injection for the immune system booster purpose. I would say my sore throat is not really because of the rhinoplasty, but it was probably because my immune system got weakened after the surgery. Nevertheless, Mrs.Kim immediately responded to my concern and I thank her a lot for taking care of me. They are just so warm and genuine! Most importantly, of course I love the nose shape. Haha. I used 100% my own autologous tissues which are rib cartilage and little bit of ear cartilage, raised the nose height, and make a nice projection for the tip of my nose. Dr. Lee recommended a slight rise for my nose height so I only raised for like 1mm. The nose line I wanted was in between straight and curve hehe. I also realized by having many consultations in different clinics, each doctor has a preferred design they usually like to recommend. So I highly recommend you to walk in for a doctor consultation and ask them to show you before and after photos! I personally think VIP has the most natural and beautiful nose shape as Dr.Lee is a prestigious and famous rhinoplasty doctor in Korea.
