Just wanted to add a few shots of me before ID HOSPITAL.

I Went to South Korea in the spring of 2014 and received the following procedures at ID HOSPITAL:
-Orthognatic "2-Jaw" surgery;
-Mandible "V-line" surgery;
-Malar Cheek Zygoma reduction surgery;
-Upper eyelids ptosis Repair; and
-V3 Lifting (threadlift).
April 9, 2014, was the day of my surgery. I stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days post-op.
It was the scariest experience of my life. Their operating room was in the very basement of their building. It felt very ominous.
After the surgery, blood was coming out of my mouth and nose and I had tubes going down my throat. It was very difficult to breathe.
I stayed in Korea for 6 weeks, receiving their weekly after-care treatments. When I got back home to the States, at about 2 months, I noticed that the skin around my mouth, jawline and neck were beginning to sag, and the corners of my mouth turn downwards. As the days and months went by, the sagging and drooping around my mouth, jaw and neck became more and more pronounced.
My pictures speak for themselves. I paid ID HOSPITAL over $30K for cosmetic surgery, to be young and beautiful, but instead, people have been telling me that ID made my face look twenty years older.
The sagging is persistent and requires surgical correction more frequently than normal. I have had two correctional surgeries since then. Their results and reviews are not included in this post.

Before surgery, this was a young beautiful face, youthful face with beautiful smile.
This is what happens when your reduce the underlying bone structure - your soft tissue now has zero support and just sags - will probably get even worse as you age
Thank you for your comment. Do you know of anything written on the subject by a specialist?
Here is another victim of facebone reduction causing premature aging and endless corrective surgeries. https://www.realself.com/review/bangkok-thailand-facial-reconstructive-surgery-journey2005-2015-zygoma-cheekbone
I don't know of any particular papers written specifically about the effects of bony reduction but the whole industry of implants and cosmetic minded maxillofacial surgery is based upon creating a better facial contour through improving soft tissue support and drape.

@hpark:Thanks for this article.Also,Dr Yaremchuck put it in a nutshell about face bone reduction consequences/problems: https://www.realself.com/question/india-dr-wanted-cheekbone-reduction-jaw-reduction-plz-opinion-face
I feel devastated to learn that you had to go through this. However, please know that there is hope. There are craniofacial surgeons who can reattach the periosteoum and lift the facial envelope
Reattach the periosteoum,fist time to hear about this, which doctors can help with this? Thank you.
any good craniofacial surgeon can perform fixation of the non-union fractures and "sew" back the periosteoum in strategic points to mitigate the damage. The problem is that these doctors do not tell the whole story and reassure you that there will be no sagging. Feel free to contact me via PM if you want to chat more about this topic
Thank you. Hope you got my PM.
OMG.My friend is considering surgery at this clinic.She saw this review and cancelled her trip.Then sent me this link.Clearly horrifying..the surgery made you age so badly overnight.
That PARK told me that I was not too old for this surgery. I made sure to ask several times, to several different people. They all told me that I was not too old. But after all was said and done, when I told them about the sagging, the lady that's the manager of international relations, yumi chung told me that it is because I am (in her words) "so aged". I have the email from her saying so, so they can't say it's defamatory. They'll say anything to get you to do it and then they'll say anything to try to wiggle out of it. I've had a facelift since this happened. It's been just over a year but now I need another facelift and I can't afford it.
Ohhhhhh lord. My heart is broken for you. I am so sorry I was thinking of going there for a time. :( I hope you are doing okay
Thank you. Most days, I'm okay if I keep myself busy but as soon a i see myself in the mirror, I'm depressed.
You are beautiful no matter stay strong sister

I hope you are not in pain, at least that might be some comfort as many are.
Needless to say I don't think you needed it in the first place, but I presume you've heard this 100 times but we all make mistakes and misjudgements in life. You didn't harm anybody, but I admire your courage for sharing your story. I hope things have improved and your keeping well.
