Plastic Surgery Experiences in Korea, the Last Day at View Plastic Surgery for Follow Up (Rhinoplasty & Lifting)

I have finally removed all the stitches! I went to View Plastic Surgery on last Wed. I also removed the nose cast, but it's still swollen a lot. The doctor said it’s normal and the surgery has been a success tho.
I removed all the tapes and plasters on my chin area, and there were no any surgical scars. I can tell my face became much more slender and my family also said I look so young when I sent my pictures. I think I really made a right choice to just go for liposuction and lifting surgery rather than facial bone contouring surgery. I deeply appreciate the doctor who recommended me to do lifting and liposuction only instead of a bone contouing surgery. Dr. Lee Hoon Young who did my liposuction and lifting surgery said that the operation was well done, and the swelling will be subside after a month, then I will have much more slender face. Dr. Song Jin Woo who did my nose job (re-operation) also said the surgery was good. It is still swollen, but I will be able to see the final result in about 6 months, but I am already satisfied with the result now.
There were still tapes and surgical design inks on my nose, but those were removed after I got aftercare service by a dermatologist on the 14th floor. Aftercare was so good that there were many patients being treated there after their surgery. The best thing about aftercare in View is that the cost is all free. I had some troubles on my face as I couldn’t really wash my face properly, but they are all kinda cleared up now after the care.
I went shopping at Dongdaemun on this day and rested at the hotel. I bought a lot of family gifts (clothes, socks, bags). I visited Myeongdong for shopping and Insadong and Namsan as well ytd. The weather was really good. I’ve heard that it is super hot in July and August, but I think the weather in Seoul in Sep is very sunny and crispy.
I'm finally going back to Seattle tomorrow. I stayed at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam and the staff was friendly and the cake on the first floor was nice. The breakfast buffet on the second floor was really good too. Ohh, btw, this hotel has quite many French. Maybe that is the reason why all the employees are good at English. I did not have any inconvenience to communicate with them. The concierge service was also good. Now I will do final packing and I will go to Gangnam Station again in the evening!

Before leaving, everything is very good surgery was done well.
Perfect!
This is really good and I storongly recommend my doctors at View Plastic Surgery Korea.
See my after surgery, I got V Line by lifting surgery and I got my beautiful rhinoplasty!
Dr. Song is really good doctor for Rhinoplasty Revision.

2nd Days Post Rhinoplasty & Accu Lifting, Korean Plastic Surgery Experiences

(my diary on 2nd days post rhinoplasty & accu lifting)
Sorry, I update my plastic surgery experience today of my 2nd day from surgery :)

I felt a bit stuffy since my nose had been blocked, but I am in better condition than I thought. I finally removed the cotton in my nose post 2nd day. It was a little sore when taking the cotton out, but it seemed to take about a second to remove it. I can breathe with my nose finally!
I had a bit itchy chin after the lifting and liposuction around my double chin area, but it was better after a nurse had applied some antiseptic ointment on my itchy spots. Now I can wipe my face slightly with wet wipes, except the surgery area.
I looked my nose with the mirror down and it looked like pretty even if it’s still swollon.
After the treatment, I walked around View hospital and Gangnam. It was so nice to go for a walk as the weather was so good in Korea. I saw so many foreign patients who had plastic surgery in Gangnam Station and they were walking around with tapes and plasters on their faces. I also have a lot tapes on my face, but I wore a mask and sunglasses outside, but I think nobody cared. There were so many pretty things to buy in Gangnam Station, but I think there are more restaurants behind the View Plastic Surgery. It is called Shinnonhyon station area. There were so many Koreans to have a meal. It seemed to be a famous place in Seoul because Korean BBQ restaurants were packed there. I just came back to the hotel with a pack of facial masks and bottled water. As soon as I lay down on my bed, I fell asleep straight away as I felt so comfortable to breathe after removing the cottons from my nose.

On the 7th day of my operation (Wed, Sep 13), all the stitches on my nose and chin area will be removed(it is done actually). I don’t need to see the doctor before. Maybe I'll see two doctors to check whether I am recovering well and I am satisfied with the result of my surgeries. I guess it is not easy to come to Korea for cosmetic surgery alone, but it is not difficult either. If there was no one to help me, it could have been quite hard tho specially when taking a taxi and going to the hotel alone on the day of surgery.

I had Rhinoplasty and Lifting Surgery Yesterday.

I had an operation yesterday. I am still in the hospital. I have felt dizzy all day yesterday due to the anesthesia, but I feel better today.
It’s inconvenient to breathe through the mouth as thick cottons inside of my nose.
According to their original rules, patients do not need to be hospitalized for more than 1-2 hrs after facial lifting or nose surgery, but because I don’t have anyone here, Rachel allowed me to stay in the hospital for a day for free. She has been so nice to me really.

I went into the operating room in the morning of September 7, and came out in the afternoon.
As my operation was under IV anesthesia, I fell asleep before surgery. After all, Rachel woke me up. I was super dizzy and thirsty when I opened my eyes, but I could not eat anything for 1-2 hours after surgery. I was told it was because of anesthesia. If you eat sth just after surgery, it can make you puke. Then, the stitches on face can be loosened. I was lying in the ward after surgery for quite long. I think I fell asleep a bit. A nurse gave me an ice mask during the time.
After a few hours, the nurse gave me a half cup of water and I was fine by that time. I slept back and woke up at night and went to the bathroom. I had a little rest on the sofa, and went back to my bed. I could not eat anything all day, but I was not hungry. My nose was blocked and I did not have any pain.
I felt more relieved after seeing the doctor again in this morning as he said the surgery had been a success.
I am in good condition today.
I had a nose job, so tapes are all over my face, and I feel a bit tight because of lifting surgery. It’s much better than yesterday tho. I'm gonna rest a little more in the hospital and return to the hotel this afternoon.
I’ve heard from people who had surgeries in other hospitals had difficulties in returning to the hotel alone because hospitals usually do not allow them to be hospitalized for nose, eye, or lifting surgery, but View seems to be a nice hospital that provides a good service to foreigners because it provides hospitalization services to foreigners. I saw a Korean who had a nose job this morning lay down next to me for about 2 hrs, and was discharged with the help of family. The Koreans who have undergone eye or nose surgery seem to have family or friends coming together. Very few people go home alone. I think it is rare that a foreigner visits Korea for cosmetic surgery alone, but I could stay in the hospital for a day and Rachel has been nice to me all the time. I didn’t really have any uncomfortable or inconvenient experiences during the stay at all.
