I'm almost 40 and really want to look great in a bikini
After having gym daughter 7 years ago, I wasn't able to lose the muffin top. I am a half marathon runner, clean eater and was tired of not looking my best. So, I decided to take the plunge. Not having any more kids, so why not look fabulous...
I am very disappointed at how difficult the heating process was.
1 week post op, the nurse told me to start using my Scar Guard. I did and then my incisions didn't heal. So I called after about 2 more weeks, and they told me to stop the scar guard and the nurse "shouldn't have told me to use it so early" and then said, don't wear the garment so I could let the wounds heal.
The lumps appeared about 2 weeks in weeks. I called, they told me to wear the garment and massage, massage massage. This is "completely normal"
6 weeks in, I am wearing my garment 12 hours a day or more. I develop a fungal infection on each of my incision sites. OUCH!! AND yes, I wash my garment often. =/
So I stop wearing the garment after visiting my GP. Called Sono Bello and was told the Dr would call me back...he didn't.
At my 12 week app't, I told the nurse that I was not happy with my results. She tool notes but she didn't take note of my incision sites...which still had a fungal infection. Everything is "normal"
Seriously, WTH is normal about howdy belly looks?
So, I get to wait till May, to go in for my 6 month appt at which time, my Dr will review my case and let me know what I can do next.
I am sad, as my 40th birthday is in 3 weeks and I am booked to go on a dream vacation with my honey. My belly is embarrassing...
HELP...anyone have any suggestions?

progress pics
The lumps are starting to go away...but not fast enough. Massaging 2X a day, stopped using Scar Guard (as the fungal infection is almost under control)

ahhh fungal infection 3rd time
I've gone to my GP 2 times now. I have cream and I have now developed the fungal infection on my belly button incision AGAIN! I decided it has to be from the garment. I've washed it several times but the yeast must still be in there. It's so disappointing. And so tired of itching all the time. =/
