Hello everyone! Long time I was wondering if I have to share my experience. First, I appologize for my bad english, but I am Bulgarian and english is not my native language.
This will be a very long review, but I want to start from the beginning. Six months ago, I had a labiaplasty done here in Bulgaria by my general gynecologist. He is a really good doctor, but unfortunately he was not experience enough in labiaplasty procedures. Right after the surgery, I realised that I have made the biggest mistake in my life, trusting him to do the surgery. As you can see from the photos, I was terribly botched, my labia were almost completely amputated, sliced in little pieces, my clitoral hood was enormous and disformed. My left labia(right on the photo) was stiched to the majora. The result was a total mess. I am not able to explain you with words how upset and emotionally destroyed I was. I was crying all the time, I didn`t get ot of home for almost a month.
Then I told to myself that I must be strong, and started to search for options to repair the things. I understood that I will need a reconstruction with clitoral hood flaps. Unfortunately, I live in a small country in Europe, and there aren`t surgeons who are experienced enough to do a reconstruction. On the other hand, it was almost impossible for me to travel to the USA(I needed visa etc.). After a lot of researches, I decided to make an appointment with Prof. Stefan Gress in Munich, Germany. He is maybe the most experienced female genital plastic surgeon in Europe.
I flight to Munich for an exam 3 months after my first surgery. Prof Gress was very kind, he told me that things can be fixed, but I will need various reconstructive technics and maybe more than one procedure done. I was also told that I have to wait another 2 months before the revision.
So, 5 months after the initial surgery I was in Munich again and my reconstructive surgery was performed on October 9th. The surgery took almost 4 hours, 4 veeery long hours.
The result was fantastic, even more than I was expecting to be done. First days after the surgery I was really swollen and bruised, but things looked fine.
I flight back to Bulgaria 5 days after. Unfortunately, because of bad blood circulation, the tissue in some places became necrotic and fell off. This lead to some separations, you can see them from the photos. Prof Gress assured me that they can be fixed, but I have to wait another 3 months, to be completely healed.
Today I am 3 weeks post op, and at this point I am happy with the result, even tough I will need some corections. I have an appointment for a revision of the revision in January and I hope that everything will be fine then. I will try to keep you up to date.
So, I would like to tell all the girls, who want labiaplasty. Take a lesson from my bad experience and choose wisely your surgeon. Don`t trust your general gynecologist or general doctor. This is not a simple procedure, you must find a very experienced genital plastic surgeon or cosmetic gynecologist! Because I did it, I went to my gynecologist(who is in dead a great gynecologist, but not a cosmetic surgeon) and now I need a second revision to fix this mistake!

2 months after reconstruction
tanichka16December 6, 2017
So, it has been 2 months since my reconstructive surgery and this is the result. I feel well, and I think I have big progress. The areas with separations will be revised and restiched at the end of January and once it`s done I think the result will be very good. I wish I did not have to go through a new operation, but considering the initial botched result, I thing I am almost at the end of this nightmare.

Looks good. Just wondering did you have pain after your first surgery?
January 15, 2018
Yes, I did, especially where my left labia was completely amputated. I was not able to wear jeans or pants, because it was causing me pain and discomfort.
January 16, 2018
Oh you poor thing. Did the reconstructive surgery help with reducing the pain in your left labia?
January 17, 2018
Oh, yes, I feel great. I am not in pain anymore, just a small discomfort in the areas with separations, which I hope will disapear after restiching. I can wear whatever clothes I want now, so happy...

Hey just wondering. I had a similar problem (loosing tissue) after my surgery in munich. Did you have to pay another time just for fixing the fallen off tissue or was this covered by the Dr ?

Hey Hilarma634! Did you also have your surgery with Dr Gress in Munich, I am currently enquiring with him for reconstruction, if you get time and are still active on here could you please message me with any advice from your experience? I’d really appreciate any insight thank you ❤️

It is looking really great, I'm so glad for you that you're finally getting to the end of it all!
If I can be totally rude, can I ask how much the reconstruction surgeries cost?
