After 22 years of hating my stomach, I'm finally getting a tummy tuck. I have 4 kids, a 22 yr old, a set of 19 yr old twins and a 13 yr old. It's time for me to be happy with my body. I wanted a fat transfer but decided against it. I have been working out with a trainer for about 9 months and I haven't been able to get rid of my stomach. I work out hard so my trainer agreed that I should get the tuck for a "jump start."
I'm excited about getting the look that I've been wanting, but nervous about the actual surgery. I have a high tolerance for pain (all 4 of my deliveries were natural), but reading some of these reviews has my stomach turning.
30 days to go. Hopefully I'll post some great pictures soon!

I talked to my trainer about nutrition after surgery today. I can't say I eat alot, just a lot of the wrong foods. He told me that eating "wrong" after surgery would cause me to gain the weight in other places. But he did say I don't have to star eating like a "rabbit" either.
I'm getting really excited. Walking pass the mirror sucking in my gut everyday. When I was jumping rope today I was looking in the mirror imaging my stomach no longer bouncing up and down.

Pre-op

I'm at the hospital for my pre-operation registration. I'm getting more nervous as the operation day gets closer. The anticipation of the pain is driving me crazy. But I can't wait to see my results. My friends seem to think I'm going to look like Dolly Part on.

Pain meds take care of pain. Eat right, move around as much as you can early on. Take a laxative ASAP , like as soon as you get home from surgery. If you are in good physical shape as I was, and you seem to be, you will recover fast. It is worth a little discomfort. Trust me!
