Thanks so much. My hubby went overboard when he went to walgreens..with gauze and tape and etc...but he got the nexcare tan tape. And that doesnt hurt. The only one draining is my low right by my lady area....how did yours drain. The maxi pad works best...great great tip....thanx so much. And i will try the clear.

I had 4 incisions. 2 in the back and 2 in the front. The first to stop draining were the back. The front took another day but it all just stops kind of suddenly. It took me 3 days but once it stopped pouring out, I just used band aids for a few says.

Im 3 days post. How soon can you take a shower? How long did you sponge bathe?
I want a shower so bad. Ive been using the assurance pre moist washcloths.

I would just fill up the sink and use wash cloths while wearing my binder to protect the incisions. My post op instructions said I couldn't take a shower until 24 hours after draining stops. That first shower felt so weird but great at the same time lol

Got a shower....omg!!! Amazing....but you are right it feels weird...my draining stopped...i used dial anti bac bar soap and made sure i cleaned the incisions. It felt good to put the garment back on. How are you feeling? Im gonna try and go for a walk tomarrow. Ive just been walking around the house
