It has been 5 months since my Mommy Makeover and I am loving every bit of my new body. Dr. Stephenson is a great Dr. and he gave me a banging body. I still swell a little bit here and there, but its not as bad as it was. I'm not really concerned about the swelling right now considering that it has only been 5 months and I went through a lot of set backs with my stomach issue that I had. The issue did not have anything to do with my surgery. It is just something that my body goes through when anything traumatic happens. I had the same issue after giving birth so the bowel obstruction scare had nothing to do with the surgery. I dint even have an obstruction, just slow bowels. But thank God for Dr. Stephenson and his staff that were great through my whole experience and I am better than ever. I wouldn't have chosen a different Dr. Crop top Nation!!!!

My recovery is going great. I am doing good and healing is getting better. I am still at home, not back at work yet. My doctor wanted me to take 8 weeks off and I am trying to do what he says. I am getting out more now and driving short distance as he recommended. So recovery is going good. Just trying to stay warm and out of the cold.

I'm trying to get a consultation with him now. How do you feel about the scar? Did you stay overnight in a hospital? Did you receive a pain pump or Exparel(sp?)? You look very good!!

Thanks, and the scar looks great. I will add some updated pics so you can see my scar. My scar is almost gone to be honest with you, especially the one under my breast. My tummy tuck scar looks great and it is very thin and not that visible at all. I did stay overnight, but normally you dont. I stayed because my surgery took a little longer and it was late when my surgery was done, but keep in mind everyone is different. No I did not have a pain pump and to be honest, you may not need it. He will make sure that you are very comfortable and pain free as much as he can. I love Dr. Stephenson he is a great Dr. and has absolutely great bed side manners and I will recommend him to anyone. So what are you thinking about getting done?

Oh that's good to hear. Yes you look amazing! The scar is really low. Why does your navel look like that? Is it a keloid?

Hello and thanks. I feel great. But no that is not a Keloid. That picture you are looking at, if its the first or the second one, no its not a keloid. That was only a few weeks after surgery and that was still stitches/glue and dried up blood, but as you can see in my last picture with the green shirt on, it does not look like that. I did not keloi at all. All of my scars are very thin and small. And they get thinner and smaller every month. My scars never raised nor got thick.

That's good to hear. Right now I'm in the research and interviewing PS phase. I would like to plan to get it next year, but I'm still casually looking for the right doctor. It's taking me longer than I thought..lol

I am super pleased with Dr. Stephenson he is the most amazing Plastic Surgeon. I had a minor setback because of bowel/intestinal issues. It had nothing to do with the surgery. I have always had bowel issues after my body goes through anything traumatic. I had the same thing happen to me after giving birth twice. But Dr. Stephenson took great care of me and ensured that I was 100% better before I was released. I was released on Christmas day at noon. I have been home now for a week and a couple of days and I am doing great, feeling great and recovering. Dr. Stephenson is always available and ensures that I am recovering well. I am happy with my results so far. I'm sure the pics are'nt the best but I will upload better pics soon. I am still swollen of course its still early in the process. But I know Dr. Stephenson is going to make sure my recovery goes smoothly. I recommend him to anyone in the Atlanta area looking for a great, caring and excellent plastic surgeon.
