The doctor was very nice and polite. However, he was very quick to the point and did not spend a lot of time with me. Instead, his "nurse" ( though I doubt she even completed high school) gave me the consultation. She told me that I had to call a loan agency and try to get more money for more expensive implants. She also had me look at a [RS bleep] magazine and point out which set of breasts I wanted to get, instead of asking me about my goals, or anything at that. She only had a bad attitude, making it a very awkward meeting.
The recovery nurse was the highlight of my experience. She was very nice and the only decent staff member. Afterward, I left with a script for Demerol; which at that time I knew nothing about. Over the next 24 hours I nearly Overdosed by accident. I was waking and falling asleep repeatedly. Every time I woke in pain I thought it was time to take my medication. I was confused and couldn't even keep track of time. I still have no idea how I got on the right flight home, and barely remember my trip back. A Few days later (after I chucked out the medication for obvious reasons) my left breast started burning horribly. When I pressed on it (TMI) a large amount of green puss came out. I seen a local doctor who then told me that I had gotten MRSA. It took me months of numerous medications to get rid of it.
The only issues I am having now is that the pigment of my nipples are very odd looking in some areas, the stitch scars are raised making the area rigid and not smooth with the breast, and It looks like I am now bottoming out. Though, I hear that bottoming out can happen anyway.
This was my first surgery and I had zero knowledge about red flags. Now looking back. There were many

Didn't interact much with Dr Colgrove. Mostly just his staff.
