Smile Direct Club Journey - 6 Month Plan
Skye3444April 20, 2020
WORTH IT$2,090
I went into Smile Direct to get my scans done on 03/11/2020. Within 3 days my 3D treatment plan was uploaded for me to see. Initially I was suggested a 4 month plan but was concerned with the outcome so I decided to request a longer treatment plan to ensure I would end up completely satisfied with the outcome. Smile direct was able to update my plan with a new 3D scan that I loved in 5 days and I decided to go through with treatment.

Day 1 and 2
Skye3444April 22, 2020
My aligners arrived on Monday 04/20 and I popped them right in because I was so excited to start. The first time putting on the aligners was a uncomfortable but not unbearable feeling. I felt the pressure on my front two teeth instantly I believe this tray is working on the projection of my front two. I kept the aligners in until dinnertime and it wasn't until I took the aligners out that the pain hit me. Again it was painful but not unbearable trying to bite down was also painful so I decided to eat small bites with my back molars. Day 2 with the trays went way bettter. I could tell the tray loosened up some and in the morning time when I took the trays out to brush it did not hurt. I felt slight pressure on the front teeth but nothing compared to the first day. I was able to eat better but still used my back teeth because of the slight pressure feeling on the front two when I bite down. I have attached pictures of Day1 and a picture of my teeth without the aligners off and on.

Thank you for sharing the beginning of this treatment! I hope you'll keep us updated, and if you're comfortable, share photos as well!
