Another Refinement

Back in Feb I started the process for another refinement. (UGH) I am not sure what's going on with them, maybe because they have more clients now than when I started the process - but they are a lot less attentive and seem to be all over the place. Long story short, they have a location that opened up in Toledo. I went there for the 3D Scan towards the end of May. I just got my aligners yesterday. I am on another 3 month refinement. The first set are pretty good, fit snug - nothing to shave off to make comfortable. Here's to hoping this is the last refinement needed! I am so over wearing these! LOL

Refinement approved!

I decided to drive 45 minutes away to the nearest office to get a 3D Scan in lieu of sending in the impressions. The office staff were unbelievable comforting. I am SO glad I went in and got the scan. A few weeks after my appt I received my 3 months worth of trays. Each one is labled (i.e. Month One Week One). Per my other posts I mention that I have to file down the edges because they dig into my gums/tongue. These trays fit SO snug and flat against my teeth it's GREAT! I am not sure if they updated their process or if it's because I did the 3D scan, but either way I am happy! I have asked twice for the 3D image to show how I should progress like I had when I first started the process and they've said they'd send it, but I have yet to see it. The first week of the refinement has passed and I am on Tray 2. I am quite optimistic with this process.

Tray 20 - supposed to be the last one

Well I just finished my two weeks with tray 20. My teeth are MUCH straighter than when I started, but I am going to have to extend my treatment. I have to send in 7 pics of my teeth with my aligners IN and 6 without. I have one tooth that is still turned out pretty far and my front tooth is longer than the other. All in all I am pleased with my progress but I am disappointed that I'm not done. I will let you know what the plan is next.
