Today is Just 4 Weeks After my Facelift. I Am Still Healing but WOW. What a Transformation!

I am turning 68 years old this week and was finally beginning to look my age. I felt like I didn't recognize myself when I would glance in the mirror.
I was a far cry from the fashion model I had been in my twenties.
In my retirement, I have been performing on stage as a singer/songwriter with my husband. I have had to retouch all of my photos to take out the bags and lines of any promo shots.

My final decision came when my grown children kept asking me why I was angry all the time.

I felt no pain in my recovery, but it is an ordeal, and healing takes a while. I still have a little bruising and swelling, but with make-up and wearing my hair to conceal the bruises a few around my ear area, I have to say:
I look fabulous.
My husband loves my new look, and even my kids are telling me how good I look.
I am so glad that I did it.
