About 5 weeks post.
Hi everyone. So just an update here.. I’m about 5-6 weeks post surgery and I have to say that I do see a big difference finally. I had been pretty bloated due to my period but I’m seeing my stomach go down a little today. I am fitting a lot better into clothes in the waist area. I no longer have to suck my stomach in all the time. I do see a tiny bump (in the abdomen which will be in the photos) but that’s usually prominent only when I eat a lot or when I’m bloated, and I’ve always had that. I have also started to exercise a bit more and eat less calories on a daily basis.
Almost 3 weeks post
Hello all. I will be 3 weeks post op in 2 days. Definitely feeling much better and I have begun to exercise again. I am definitely still a bit sore and lumpy. I have not been wearing my compression garment today so the lumpiness in the front of my stomach is pretty obvious. It seems to be getting better as time progresses but I don’t expect it to go away for a while. Gently massaging the lumps definitely helps, as does wearing the compression garment.
BEFORE PHOTOS
These photos were taken about two months before my procedure. I realized I never added these to my first entry. I weighed about 135lbs here and I had unwanted flank and abdominal fat. A few days after the procedure I am already noticing my lower abdomen is smaller than it s was, even while swollen. Not seeing too much of a flank area difference due to swelling yet.
