Ok, it's been a month and I am still immensely happy. After the procedure, within I'd say days of being measured, I'd lost 6 inches in my waist! Now after 1 1/2 months, I've lost another 2 inches for a total of 8 inches! I'm blown away. I can't wait to see how I look in six months. I must say again though how pleased I am with Dr. Boutte as well. She does outstanding work and I recommend her without a single reservation to EVERYONE. I live in MD and I told people at my job, but of course they saw me and everyone is impressed. I basically had a barrel sort of shape in the middle with my tummy rounded and sticking out. She gave me a waistline and I got in to where I'm really curvaceous now. I know they take before and after pics to post on their site, but I think the office post some here as well. I will include pics so everyone can see what I mean. It's just amazing!

I did smart lipo because I recognized that I had stubborn fat areas that no matter how much I exercised, I would never get rid of. I'm so glad that I did the procedure with Dr. Boutte, because quite simply she is the best. She is an artist with her work and is so dedicated, which you can see in her compassion and a genuine desire for you to get the best results possible. She and her staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The office is gorgeous and so stylish even though Dr. Boutte comes off as very down to earth, yet professional.
The procedure went very well though it was not entirely pain free. I chose the option to have local anesthesia and saved over $700. Although there was some pain, I noticed that the method Dr. Boutte used to manipulate the area helped me not feel it at times. The worst pain was about 8 hrs after the procedure and during the night when I was trying to get in/out of bed to use the bathroom, because I had to drink 4 bottles of water, which I did. I was also surprised that the pain began to lessen considerably by 2 am and by the morning though the pain was there, I felt like I could do things, like drive and putt around the house. This was WAAAY better than my laparoscopic fibroid removal in which I was in pain and in bed for 3 days! Dr. Boutte was honest about me needing about 3 days before I could return to work, and I was surprised that I felt this much better after the first day!
There is pain, especially if I cough or sneeze, but the compression girdle and the binder help a lot! I can't wait to see my final results. In about a month, I was told to expect good results then in 2 months better and so on for each month thereafter. The best results are expected in 6 months as long as I do what I'm supposed to, but I like that I can start seeing improvement as early as one month. I would suggest to anyone to do smart lipo instead of regular liposuction. I read up on both and on the tummy tuck as well, and the procedure that has the least amount of pain, scarring and general healing time is Smart-Lipo hands down. Of course the best doctor I would suggest is Dr. Boutte. she is board certified and quite simply more than skilled, she is artistic. I know because I looked at many of the pre and post pictures, and I know a few people who have had their procedures with her, and they are all happy! Additionally, I read reviews before I decide to do anything major and Dr. Boutte doesn't have any bad reviews! I can't wait to write in again in one month to say how things are going, but so far, so good!
