I was in a lot of pain the first night, like you won’t believe it, but I got it under control with the meds, after that the pain has been manageable the whole time, my surgery was 3 hours be the extracted 3,100 cc of fat from my problem areas, today is Wednesday 10PM and I’m changing my bandages, the lower ones are heavy with blood and liquid, no si much on the top, I feel fine considering I just had surgery, sleeping face up is a pain and my back hurts but you get used to it.

I took some pictures and compare with the ones from a day before (Monday) I see a difference already but I can tell I’m swollen a lot so have to wait couple of weeks to see once that goes down. The doctor call me to follow up, the office (Sono Bello) responds to my text right away which is very convenient since I don’t like calling.

Let me start by saying Doctor Berger and all the staff in Sono Bello have been very professional, I'm male patience, I'm active, professional and educated, back in 2016 I was 240lbs with high blood pressure, depressed and going through a divorce, life was definitely not looking good for me, I decided to make a change, I started running 3 miles a day, then 4, then 5, and finally 6 miles a day, in 6 months I lost 60 pounds, after that my weight loss stopped, I keep going to the GYM, running, using the same diet, but I just can lose the extra 15 pounds to reach my goal weight of 165 pounds, my "ideal" weight is 137lbs according to the "experts" but honestly last time I was 150 I looked like I had cancer... I was 18.

The best shape of my life was at 165lbs at 26 years old, and that's my goal, I'm close, very close, some days I weigh myself and the scale marks 176 pounds, which technically makes me between 10 and 15 pounds from my goal, as I said, that's very close, I know I will make it.

But in two days from now, I'm going to have Smart Lipo with Dr. Berger in NY, I don't feel shame because I'm a male in my late 30s, father and divorce, I want to do this because I feel is going to change my life, is going to change the way I feel about myself, probably make me love myself more, sadly we live in a world when people judge you by your look, it's what it's, you either get on board or let yourself go.

I'm very nervous about it, more about results than anything else, I want as much fat as possible to be removed, I know this is not magic and I will work my ass off at the GYM after to get the results I want, this surgery is just a "little help" I need to point my body in the right direction.

Wish me luck.
