2 days post op

I am still very swollen but I'm starting to see results. I know the final results will not be for another few months. The pain isn't bad. I was able to go grocery shopping today. The pain pills are helping. Its getting itchy wearing the compression garment all day, so I put the alone vera gel on to help. I have not had any drainage which the doctor says that varies person to person

1 day post op

I woke up in the middle of the night in a lot of pain (5/10). I just took a pain pill and went back to sleep. I was told to drink lots of water, so I did. That also means I had to pee a lot. It's quite painful to take the compression garment off and on everytime I had to pee.

Smart Lipo wasn't that bad

The procedure went well. Upon arrival the doctor gave me a cocktail of medications to help me relax. I signed consent forms and then had to wait until the meds kicked in. When it was time to get started the tech, Jackie, came to take me to the procedure room. I was able to keep on my underwear and socks, but everything else came off. My eyes had to be covered due to the laser, but they talked me through the whole process. First the doctor went in with the numbing solution through two incisions. That was the worst part. The pain wasn't unbearable, but it was uncomfortable. The next step was to go in and liquefy the fat to. This part was interesting, because I could hear the fat cells bursting. The last step is to suck all the fat off. After the procedure was over tegaderm patches were put over the incision sites. The tech helped me into my compression garment and I was free to go home
