I wanted to improve my chin area and smooth the jowl area. Dr. Tabor knew exactly what I needed! 2 syringes of Juvederm in the n/l folds, marionette lines and along my chin to smooth jowly indentations. I was surprised at the difference it made & my jawline looks stronger & I feel more confident. Extremely pleased.
I also want my cheeks augmented & am returning in 2 weeks for Voluma in cheeks.

The picture is from a month out? That is a great "after" result. Very nicely filled in. :D

Thanks ladies ! I didn't anticipate posting pics at the time or I would've taken more. The dr's assistant used numbing on my chin, so honestly it hurt very little-which was also helped because Dr. Tabor is so fast. There was probably 4 or so injections on each side of my chin. The after pic posted is actually the same day-before my one bruise along my marionette line had a chance to darken.
The biggest thing that I'm happy about is the filler that was placed along the side of my chin going down that filled the indented groove on each side. Makes my chin look less jowly in a way that simply filling the marionette lines wouldn't achieve. But, he did put a line of filler in front of the marionette lines, too.
When I initially went that day I wanted my cheeks & chin done, but only had 2 syringes of regular juvederm in my budget. The dr strongly encouraged me to not try and spread that small amount into both spots, but focus on one & come back for the other. I'm so happy I took. His advice because my chin needed 2 syringes!
I've now saved my $$ and have scheduled Voluma (he says the lift on the cheeks really is best with voluma vs the thinner fillers) for Nov 3. So excited! I will post full face before/afters then & update this thread.

I found a little lift with the Voluma, but not enough to offset the jowls. Juvederm is much less expensive as Voluma & I think did a really good job of camouflaging them without making me look too bottom heavy

Look at my most recent update where I had the jawline done a bit more. I'm pretty much satisfied now

The filler was injected Oct 12, I think, so I'm now a little over a month out. The pic was before/after the same day-after the redness subsided, but before the bruise on one side set in.

Wanted to add
I did have a bruise along one of my marionette lines. I do think the fact that I used ibuprofen a couple of times in the week before made the bruising worse. The bruise lasted almost 2 weeks, but I was so pleased with my immediate improvements that it didn't bother me. The possibility of bruising is something that should be considered, however.

I had the same thing done. I am quite pleased although with the amount they used and what it cost I expected to be more pleased than I am. It cost a hell of a lot and ended up being over a thousand more dollars than what was quoted. No pictures to show but take my word for it. It looks better but...................

Another before/after
This is another before & after. Obviously the lighting is different, but the jawline contour really is improved & apparent in the shot, in my opinion. If you are thinking about touching up your jawline, this is s pretty easy fix with 2 syringes of juvederm. The after shot was the day of my injection & you can see a bruise forming in the corner of my mouth. The bruise lasted 2 weeks.
Wow, great results, thank you for posting!
How many injections did you have? Did it hurt?
Good luck with your cheek augmentation and be sure to post your pics!
