Its been a long minute. I hope you all are thriving, eating healthy and taking care of your mind, body & soul. Its been 3 years and I am healthy maintaining a weight range of 120-123. I can still only eat small portions at a time so my restrictions are still intact. I no longer take as many supplements because I can now eat enough to satisfy my daily requirements. My scars have shrank with my size some of them look like just a small dot. I have tons of stretch marks and loose skin which doesn't bother me its just something that I will learn to live with as I dont plan on getting any more cosmetic surgery. This journey has humbled me and I realize that alot of my insecurities drive my decisions, not to say Im not happy with my results but had I taken the time to research more natural alternatives aswell as gotten some therapy I think I would have made a different choice. Im finally content with the woman in the mirror. Good luck to you all

Its been a minute but I am checking in for all that are still wanting to hear how my journey is going. I am doing well, no health issues, my appetite has grown but my restriction is still there. I find myself with a ton of leftovers which i hate because i try not 2 be wasteful, but its a product of the surgery, and i have learned to eat for satifaction not to clean my plate. I workout 2x per week and i and loving it. At first because my weight loss was so rapid i was not happy with how i began 2 look it was scary 2 go from 200-116 pounds in 6 months not to mention how my family reacted to the change. Once i got on the proper vitamins and started eating the foods tht would agree with me things started to slowly get better. Now i am enjoying my slim frame, not to mention how much shopping i am able to do. I am a size 3 in jeans, and xs in most dresses and tops...i can shop in the jrs section and find most of my sizes on clearance. I am greatful that I am doing alot better then I started...sure i still have loose skin and droopy boobs but im good no more surgery for me im going to quit while im ahead.

27 Weeks/6+Month update

I want to give a Mid-point update, about my current situation to all who are interested. I am currently resting at 126lbs. I am considered at a health weight for my height (5'7). But completely under my intended goal weight (140Lbs). I am doing a lot better in regard to food tolerance and consumption. I can eat almost anything at this point but I stay away from bread. I have a love for collard greens, most grilled meat, and bisque soups. My vitamin regimen has changed several times and I am currently taking Nu Life Multivitamin Tropical berry, I have only been taking this for a couple of weeks but I have noticed slight changes including increased energy, less dizziness, and less nausea. I am also taking b12, potassium, and b1. I have learned that I do have to wait at least 30 minutes after eating a meal to take my vitamins as it does cause upset stomach if taken to soon after eating. Other changes I am noticing is missed periods. I have skipped a few months, and when I do get them it tends to be really light or last 7-9 days, which is different from my 4-5 day typical cycle. I am not routinely taking protein shakes as I was in the beginning, but I do take them when I know I will miss a meal when in a hurry. I also travel with mini snacks like protein bars, dried fruit, and trail mix to manage the hunger while I am in between meals & away from home. I am still struggling with constipation so I take a stool softener at least once a week even tho I am on a probiotic regimen. Learning how my sleeve works is a process and every sleeve is different, as many reviews as I had checked out and not one prepared me for my own individual situation. I am finally at a comfortable medium and it seems the worst is over. I do plan on re-gaining the weight but in muscle form hopefully. I am now able to workout and I do 30 minutes of weight training 3 times per week. I will update more pics once I see a significant change in my appearance, but at this time its pretty much like my last pictures....lots of loose skin. Thats all for now ttyl.
