Let me start by saying this page has helped me a lot coping with me stupid decision. I wake up everyday with pure regret. Nice tattoo with a known artist but I want to be clean again. I’m devastated with looking at this everyday. I want to begin using Pico way but I’ve seen reviews on here of people 7-8 treatments in with minimal progress. Not sure what to do :(

I went to a few places that offer laser treatments. Luckily the ink is not super dark but it’s going to be a long journey ahead. Thinking about taking the 3k unlimited picoway deal that was offered to me today.

Beautiful tattoo but not me.
DSalazar9October 19, 2019
This is the beautiful tattoo I received. It’s nice but I can not cope with having it. I want to have clean skin again. It’s insane how you can go from having a beautiful life, nothing brothering me... to just going down a black hole over a very stupid quick Decision.

That’s great — I just checked out your thread. Have you thought about switching to picoway? I’m thinking of doing picoway or picQ4, not sure yet.

Starting picoway this week - Nervous
DSalazar9October 20, 2019
I am starting picoway this week. They cut me a deal for 3k, unlimited sessions. I am honestly devastated by this ordeal. I am going to have to wear long sleeves for a long long time. I also have a pre-existing scar underneath the tattoo. I hoping the ink will still be able to get out.

You're smart to take the unlimited deal. I'm over a year into the removal process of 2 tiny & very old tattoos (both ~20 years old), and I've easily spent 3K at this point. For what it's worth, your tattoo is badass, & it should probably continue to look good as it fades away. I know that doesn't mean much since you're devastated, but seriously it's one of the best tattoos I've seen on this site. Since your tattoo is black/grey ink, I bet you'll have no trouble getting very quick results! Best of luck to you & please keep us updated

Thanks, I appreciate it. I went to a well known artist here in Miami as well but he did not have my vision. He made it too big and also as it gets lower , it gets super dark. I wanted it coming out of my shirt more smoothly smh. However, my main concern is not having good skin on this arm anymore. It’s a hard decision to make. The place I’m doing the laser treatment at is holding my deposit as I am in limbo.

I know what you mean about the long sleeves. I live in LA and it's 95+ degrees in November. It gets frustrating for sure. I do recommend it though, it not only hides the tattoo but it also protects it from the sun which is the important part. I plan to keep it mostly covered over the next few years. I've gotten high quality athletic shirts, for sport fishing, running or hiking. I always look like I'm going for a hike but I've gotten used to it. I love hiking so I've made it almost a daily thing, along with the gym and yoga. It isn't how I'd want to dress all day, it feels somewhat unnatural because I prefer jeans and a t shirt, but it is highly functional and helpful.
Hey there, I'm glad you found us! I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling this way about your tattoo and I hope you find the support you need here. How old is your tattoo? Would you be willing to post some photos?
