Post-op and LOVING my new Breasts!!
$15,000
I have been meaning to write an update sooner than now but being that I am a teacher and I went back to work 10 days post-op, I have been SLAMMED and pushing it Way Too Hard until now.....now I can relax a bit more and have a little less on my numerous to-do lists. I am healing so very well. I am thankful for that. I do get tired easily and still find myself exhausted by mid-afternoon.....but so glad I have had no major issues. WISH I HAD DONE THIS SOONER, whoo hoo. Oh, and I forgot to say that I still wake up and look down and think Wow! This IS [still] for real :)

Thanks! I feel pretty good. I went for my 2nd post-op today and was supposed to get the drains removed, but since I have had at least 20-40 cc's of fluid drainage 2 x's a day he decided to keep them in. Its fine with me b/c I'd rather play it safe. I'm very bruised around one of my nipples but they look good and I feel so much Lighter!

Surgery in Less than 48 Hours!! My anxiety has turned to more excitement :)
I can not believe I am going to have a breast reduction in less than 48 hours! All of my ducks are lining up in a row and the day is ALMOST here. Its been years since Ive wanted to do this....but I never really knew if I ever would. Well that changed just a few months ago and here I am. I still have anxiety about the surgery itself and the potential pain afterwards/recovery, especially since I have been taking bubrenorphine (suboxone) for 3 years. I stopped taking it yesterday so I will have a better chance at actually feeling the pain medication, but I know I am going to have more pain than the average person. After my knee scope I woke up in a good amount of pain and they gave me a LOT of pain meds. The man next to me in the recovery room said his pain level was 0 (same surgery). But I'll be strong. I know it is going to be worth it. I know I am going to feel so great afterwards and will smile from ear to ear when I can wear certain shirts hanging in my closet that I havent been able too for awhile.....especially the button down ones that bulge at my chest! I will try and update after my surgery as soon as can w/photos as well. Reading and seeing others before and after stories/pics have helped so much. Thank you.

good luck, this will bring you so much relief and happiness, be optimistic, it is not a hugely painful surgery and involves no muscle, so very different to knee surgery. read my review to know what a normal recovery is like
