I am initially looking for something to even out my skin spots. I don't spend time in the sun at all and wear sunscreen everyday, but I did grow up in Hawaii without wearing sunscreen and I have some freckles that come out during summer. The last few summers my face has broken out in a rash around my eyes and cheeks. When the rashes went away I was left with large sunspots, that look almost like liver spots. They are ever so slowly fading with time, but I would like something to remove them more quickly.

First photo update May 1st
These photos show more texture of my skin. I am using 1 pump of the AM serum in the morning and 1 pump of *both* AM and PM serum in the evening. It leaves a VERY nice glow right after application. Would be really great for people who don't wear a lot of makeup and want a fresh skin look.

I still have a good amount of serum left in the bottles but I can't imagine putting out $260 to continue this treatment. It feels really nice as a daily serum and leaves a great finish. I'm not seeing major changes to my complexion but it does have a subtle glow effect that I definitely appreciate.

Also, forgot to mention:
*I received this complementary treatment through the RealSelf Insider program*

It's been about 6 weeks and I have noticed a lightening of my problem spot within a spot in my cheekbone. I'm very happy about that, although overall I don't see much of a difference. The serum leaves a nice glowy finish and I love that- there is still a good amount of serum left in the bottles. This is probably one of the best serums I've used as a daily treatment. That being said, the effects of lightening and evening out my skin texture is very subtle and I cannot imagine spending $260 to continue treatment. Honestly I wanted something a bit more dramatic. Bottom line for me- not worth it.

Have you tried Hydroquinone? You have to get it from your dermatologist and insurance usually doesn’t cover it ($100 a tube) but in 2 months my dark spots are completely gone and haven’t come back and it’s been years.
