SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum & AlphaRet Overnight Cream
WORTH IT$260
Hi everyone! Over the last few years I’ve been on a journey to age as gracefully as I possibly can and after years of trying countless products and spending who knows how much money, I’ve decided to give these two products a shot. I’ll be reviewing the SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum and AlphaRet Overnight Cream over the course of the next 5-7 weeks and will keep you all posted on my experience along the way. Fingers crossed for some good end results!

Almost 4 Weeks...
Well, I’m a little over three weeks into using the SkinBetter Science Alto Defense Serum and AlphaRet Overnight Cream and so far I’m not totally disappointed, but I’m not exactly thrilled about my results either. I’ve been using the Defense Serum twice daily and the AlphaRet Cream overnight (as instructed). I’ve definitely noticed a decrease in the overall tone of my face and the fine lines on my forehead look like they’ve been reduced in comparison to my before photo. I’ve had very little to no irritation while using these products, so that’s been a plus. I’ve really only experienced a little bit of a tingle on my face for a few seconds after applying the cream(s) then I go back to feeling normal. I still have a couple more weeks left of trying these products out, so I’m hopeful that I’ll see more results over the course of the next 2-3 weeks. Until then... xx (:

Final Outcome at 7 Weeks
Well, it’s been 7 weeks since I started using the AlphaRet Overnight Cream and Alto Defense Serum. I’d like to say that overall these are decent products and I did see a reduction in the fine lines on my forehead as well as a ore even skin tone. I don’t know if they’re worth the price that you’d be paying, but I did end up with nice end results and significant or not, you can be the judge as to whether or not you feel it would be a good investment for yourself by viewing my photos. Also, please take into consideration that results may vary. I do hope this review has helped anyone interested in these SkinBetter Science products (:

Nice difference! Your fine lines are certainly less visible!

Thanks so much. Over the course of the 7 weeks I had been using the products it was hard to see a difference until I looked at my before photo in comparison!

Yeah I find that so often! That’s why when people post negative reviews and no pictures I’m like post them! Because often times you won’t notice a big change looking in the mirror but there really is a difference. We just see ourselves everyday so gradual changes don’t stand out. And all of these little things add up to aging gracefully!!! :)

Thanks for your review. Just FYI, you can get a prescription for Retin-A (tretinoin) from a Dermatologist (or any provider that has prescriptive authority but if you don't have acne your PCP may not be able or willing to prescribe for rhytides). It will cost less and give much better results!
