Skin Damaged from Microneedling
I have been struggling for months. My skin was fine honestly. I received 4 free microneedling treatments from what I thought was some one extremely distinguished in the arena. I represent my state as a beauty queen and promoted a business I trusted with my face. I model and make money from it . Well use to. I have stayed in my house other than for work for about 6 months . I don’t wear makeup I have no social life now . I started noticing issues about a week after or so from the 4 th treatment. I called expressed my concerns was told they’d look at it. Problems started to get worse. They told me looked like I was allergic to something I was taking possibly. I stopped taking vitamins bc I thought that was the issue. I change detergent shampoo hair products and still my face was getting worse. I said I thought it could be related to microneedling and was shut down immediately saying no it wouldn’t have been that. Fast forward a few month and 2 trip to a dermatologist and was told I may have rosacea. Then was told a compromised skin barrier. The place that did this will not see me will not treat me any further at all.. it’s devastating to have your skin messed up and then be told to find another place to be treated bc you messed up my skin. I’m beside myself with self confidence issues and my life hasn’t been the same. The first photo was no makeup 3 days before that treatment that messed up my skin the rest are the afters

I’m not sure what happened to you ladies, but there should be NO track marks after the procedure or bumpy skin months after!!! Like I said, I’ve done hundreds of these procedures and haven’t had a complaint! This is a wonderful tx! I’m so sorry you are going through this!!
Also let me add, I do not recommend Cetaphil or any other type of drug store cleansers. If you are going to put money into your skin, in our spas, be sure to keep up the professionalism at home, with medical grade cleansers, serums, moisturizers and sunscreens. It pays to be proactive. I will leave this for those of you who believe everything a Derm recommends product wise, that is. When a client has been told it's good from a Dermatologist, they often won't believe me if I tell them its not. So I've developed a strategy which works like magic. This is exactly what I say to my clients:
Dermatologists specialize in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. Usually, the only training they have in skin care products is from the reps who are invested in selling their product. If you want to understand why I don't recommend Cetaphil, then do a simple Google search "Cetaphil bad for your skin" and educate yourself.
