Office Experience Far From Contour's Philosophy

It pains me to leave this rating because I like Dr. Jochen. In addition, I was very excited about continuing to be a patient of his. This rating is more about his staff which needs major training & understanding of his philosophy for his office. I had a biopsy then Moh's surgery by Dr. Jochen. After the biopsy, his staff did not give me accurate info on the prep before the Moh's. I had to be my own advocate as I was given "conflicting" information as well as being told to use something in a way that had the potential to be harmful to my health. I had to call another physician and ask if what they were telling me was okay. They aren't concerned at all and seem to be confused and uninformed. Had the Moh's surgery and the aftercare was non-existent. The attitudes here when you ask a question are terrible as they act like you are bothering them! No thanks...There were six other incidents that occurred since February that had to do with my care & aftercare that were not okay. Then when you add another half dozen incidents having to do with scheduling, following through including but not limited to no return call to my pharmacy and it is clear this place has major issues.Each & every single time they don't take responsibility for their actions or their mistakes. How can a person have confidence that they are being taken care of? I didn't and don't feel cared for. The gaslighting here is unbelievable. I am hurt and very upset because I was so excited to be a patient here & thought I had a good rapport w/ Dr. Jochen. When I read the office philosophy I thought oh finally a place that gets it. Sorry to say that this is not true. They have made some very big mistakes and instead of admitting it and making it right they chose to dismiss all responsibility and blame me! I am just a patient who put my care in their hands. That is all I did. Common courtesy & basic manners go a long way & they are the foundation for his philosophy but are missing here. The major disconnect between this philosophy and the staff here. Wish Dr. Jochen had reached out to me because all I want is to feel secure and be treated fairly. I really thought he cared about me as a new patient. I am sure they ran to him first when I told them I wanted to talk to him so they could cover their own rear ends. Common sense would tell a person that I don't have anything to gain by complaining. I am very upset that I was put in this position. First time in my life I actually cried over the treatment & lack of concern by a doctors’ office. Hopefully, this will be the last.
