Following a breast cancer diagnosis, radiation treatment, and genetic testing, I made the decision for a bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. After consultation with Dr. Gallego, we decided upon using a latissimus flap on the side of the radiation treatment. The surgery and results were very successful. Dr. Gallego was caring and attentive and always ready with answers and time.
