Ended 3 Years of Inconvenience Due to Large Incisional Hernia

An ovarian cystectomy during my 4th month of pregnancy and a subsequent c-sec at the birth of my baby led to the tearing of my abdominal muscles. The result was an unsightly huge bulge at the lower tummy with lots of stretched skin. I couldn't leave the house without my binder and had to wear loose drappy clothes to cover up. Exercising did absolutely nothing to it.
Over the years, I read and researched on my condition and looked for doctors. I was recommended to Dr Chris Chui and basic background check shows good reviews. On first consultation, Dr Chui was very professional and I felt comfortable during the inspection. He was very clear in explaining the surgery process and also highlighting the risks. I appreciate that he did not hard sell other cosmetic procedures and went straight into correcting the problem. The hernia repair + tummy tuck surgery lasted about 4 hours and he was in his usual calm and composed manner which made me feel safe. He visited me regularly at my ward to check on me and after my discharge, there were also weekly reviews to ensure that my wounds heal up nicely. It's the 4th week now and I'm happy with the results, my tummy tuck was not overly tight and I could straighten up by end of week 2. My new belly button looks like a belly button, and albeit the long scar (which would understandably take time to fade), I look human again.
