Restylane and Restylane Silk
I went to get my lips filled with Juvaderm, but the doctor recommended Restylane. He did my lips and my cheeks...3 vials. Two were Restylane and 1 was Restylane Silk, but I'm not certain what he put where. It looked great afterward, but I noticed within a few hours my lips started aching...very uncomfortably so I took some Tylenol, which I've never had to do after Juvaderm. About 5 hours after the injections my lips started very quickly swelling up. The more I put ice on them the worse they got! The swelling started going away the next day and took a few days. I didn't have any issues with my cheeks at all...they looked great. I'm happy with the results, but from now on I'm only using Juvaderm for my lips.
