Silicone Injection Removal Scheduled
WORTH IT$9,500
Hello Everyone,
I have scheduled my surgery with Dr. Paz for September 14th, looking to connect with people who are scheduled or have had surgery with Dr. Paz.
I had my consult with him a week ago, he seems very calm, and has an honest smile, that's very important to me.
I am still deciding on a recovery house, hotel, or AirBnB but I like the all inclusive deal of a recovery house better at this point.
I am documenting my entire journey on TikTok, Facebook, Youtube, with hopes of helping others who are dealing with this, and to help you with seeing my journey with Dr. Paz.
I do speak Spanish, my native language is Portuguese, however I live in the US, and the fact he speaks fluid English is very important.
He is also Board Certified in Colombia and the US, I went ahead and checked their website for his credentials.
Although I've had surgery overseas before I am very worried, because this is nothing like regular plastic surgery. It scares me of what could be inside, what it will look like when I wake up... But I am optimistic.
I received my quote, and it's slightly higher than other reviewers, but I am ok with that. In total I think I will have to spend $18k all inclusive, but I am bringing a friend with me, so for someone who's going alone it will be a little less.
My consultation wasn't long, he seemed very tired, and I am sure he is sick of answering the same questions over and over. I just needed to see his face and look in his eyes, I am usually an energy person, so if the vibe was not there I wouldn't have chosen him.
I did consult with a Dr. in Colombia, who is also an amazing surgeon, but he turned me down due to my history of thrombosis ( blood clots ). I was advised by Dr. Paz, and Dr. Katzen ( whom I also had a consult with ) to check with my Cardiovascular Specialist for surgery clearance. My surgeon will implant bilateral filters in my femoral arteries for protection, these will later be removed when I am back home and able to resume my Xarelto 10 mg.

As I said, let's connect! Looking forward to hearing from you, for mutual support, we need it!
Peace and love to you!

Switched my date to Oct. 26th
One week before I travel to Colombia. Let me tell you that Yolanda at the recovery house has been an absolute doll so far. I can't wait to meet her, and finally go through this process.
Dr. Paz's staff has also been very "Do not worry, we will help you with everything you need here"
I know it's hard for some of us to let go of trying to control every outcome, but at this point that is what I have to do. The sails have been extended, and the ship was set in motion, so I am letting the wind just take me through this process, and trusting my choices.
I am very scared, anxious, but I know the universe has not veered me in the wrong direction before.

Surgery day
What all can it say about Dr. Andrés Diaz Paz that hasn’t already been said, a special thanks to the incredible anesthesiologist Dr. Martin. Not much to say for now, but this was taken right after surgery. It’s not as full on top when I stand up, I will definitely be seeking a very natural reconstruction, but that’s only 6-12 months down the road.
Feeling grateful for all the amazing people that have helped me so far, L&S Recovery House, Yolanda, Daniella, Stephany, Claudia, Monique.
I had to be assertive at the recovery room because the nurses were trying to shuv my big azz into a medium faja, and so I had to get my loud voice out. Aside that no other issues.
