Silicone Removal

WORTH IT
Like a lot of women I had silicone injected into my buttocks and I had it for 10 years. I searched desperately for a surgeon that was knowledgeable in removing it. I came across Dr. Katzen and let me tell you he is simply amazing. At my consultation he was very patient knowledgeable and took his time in listening to all my concerns and let me tell you I had a million questions. I decided he was the doc for me. My surgery took place in dec 2019. Dr Katzen made me feel so comfortable and reassured me that I would be taken care of. Post op surgery Dr. Katzen and his staff Kiara, Ana and Jane are phenomenal they answered my every call checked on me and made themselves available no matter what day it was! My removal recovery went smooth and I am now free of that poison in my body. He is the surgeon I am going to for my reconstruction! Thank you Dr Katzen you saved my life. And thank you Kiara, Ana and Jane for all your attentiveness I am forever grateful!!!

Hi what was the cost of surgery? Did you pay through insurance?

I think price varies depending how much silicone you have in your body. He did say some Insurance Can cover it but I didn’t want to wait for approval so I went with care credit.

Got it, thank you!

Insurance will almost never cover the removal. All is considered cosmetic.

At least for my insurance, it’s not. It’s considered a massive health issue, and is fully covered. But you have to pay upfront and then your coverage will reimburse you because this is considered “out of network”
