Home Sweet Home
Back in Houston. Will take it very easy for the next 2 weeks. Do not want to provoke the incision. Will update with more pictures soon as the swelling goes down.
I observed the incision was extended to the sides. I imagine he had to do this to correct whatever Dr.Gomez did. The stitches are dissolvable both on the inside and out. So I do not have to worry about getting them taken out.

Picture Update
So today was the first day I saw the incision. I asked the massage therapist to change the bandages for me and to take out some pictures. I think it looks good. Trying my outmost best to be careful.
I bought a special type of gauze from Amazon. This was recommended to me. It is suppose to help with the healing process. Will start using it from next week and tell you all how it works.

Recuperating Process
Surgery was the Saturday (19th).
Wednesday (23rd) date of first massage. I spoke to the Dr. assistant Angie (big time liar). I explained what happened during the surgery and I asked her to ask the doctor if this in fact was normal for me to wake up during the surgery.
The next day I met with the doctor at another clinic he operates from. This was about 5 days after the surgery. He indicated that I had a lot of bad tissues, fibrosis and necrosis. He said he removed whatever product was left and he was happy about the outcome of the surgery.
No explanation was given to me about me waking up during the surgery and I did not ask. I felt the timing was inappropriate as he was going to operate on someone. I brought it up with Angie. Her response was the doctor said you were not under full general anaesthesia, it was epidural with sedation.
Side note - It was advised by the doctor to not wear the faja for 7 days, so the flap placed does not get compressed.
Drains was removed on day 10.
I am still heavily bandaged.
