13 weeks post op
WORTH IT$22,100
I am now 13 weeks out of surgery. I am back to work and able sit for long periods of time. I have been applying the scar cream and wearing the silicone wrap which seems to be helping. I am feeling much better. I have no pains that I previously had prior to surgery and I have not had any flare ups. This was the best decision to get the silicone removal. I do plan on going back for recon to fill in the areas that dip on the sides.

Ive been looking at your story and was wondering if you can please reach out to me. I have some questions I really think he will be the one that will be able to help me. Pretty desperate and in a lot of pain. Crazy to be able to af least relate and talk about it freely with others that understand and won’t judge. Can you please text me if i don’t answer. I would really appreciate it!! 3052057349

Hello how you doing ? I pray all is well please help me. I got injections 2010 I’m currently having pain. My family have no clue
Hey hun. I'm still in the healing process. This is definitely a process. My drains are infected and I have been out of the garment it a few days bc my skin started to peel between my thighs and I had developed sores so Dr. Katzen told me stay out the garment for a few days to give it time to dry up. Also, my pinky and index finger down are numb. So this is what I am currently going through right now.
Where are you having pains and are you considering the removal?
I hope you feel better soon. Stay brave!! Since your out of your garment maybe ask Dr. Timothy if it's ok to give your self some lymphatic massages to help with swelling which also causes pain.
Thank you so much. I'm still in this recovery process and I'm back in the garment.
Hello, how are you doing now?
Hi, I am actually doing much better now. I am 8 weeks post op. I am sitting now, able to bend and touch my toes, and has want back to the gym. I got the remaining stitches taking out last Tuesday.
So glad to hear your doing better, my surgery is in September and I’m excited and terrified at the same time. I hope you continue to heal!
At 7 weeks you had the stitches taken out? Did that hurt? That's what I'm concerned about, I'm 3 weeks post op and the drains being removed was the worst pain ever. I'm so nervous about the stitches and a staple that I have.
I am so sorry that I am just seeing this. Ow has our recovery been?
It’s been really good, I can’t complain. Although I do still have a stitch stuck in me. They will come out I’m guessing whenever I get back to Cali
Glad that everything is going well. How did you know a stitch was stuck inside of you and how will they remove it once our go back? I'm actually going to go back for recon.

Officially 1 week post op
Hey guys, I am officially one week post op. Let me tell you this is not an easy surgery and it gets worse before it gets better. Dr. Katzen and his team were great. He removed about 8 pounds from me and 10% was in my muscle. You need to make sure you go into this surgery with a good mindset and a great support system. My best friend is my care taker and let me tell you there is no way I could do this recovery process with our her. The day of the surgery I ended up getting my period which was the worse bc I am supper heavy so imagine that. Then the day before my first post op appointment with Dr. Katzen I had to use the bathroom but there was no way for me to go bc there was gauze stapled to my garment blocking the part where I was supposed to go so it got all in my garment. It was just a mess this first week. I started to walk on the 2nd after surgery with the walker which was a challenge, because it feels like bricks are holding down on your lower body. It’s a very heavy feeling so you really can’t lift your legs. I am so happy to have my best friend throughout this whole ordeal bc she definitely pushes me and works around the clock to make sure I’m eating and taking my meds.

How are your symptoms?
My symptoms as far as the autoimmune disease I had? If so, I have not had any flare ups since the removal.
