Lumps and Disfigurement After Surgery

The following writings are a portion of my diary chronicling a 2 year awful experience with

Dr Gallerani for Silicone Removal of the buttocks. If anyone is thinking about the removal, please weigh the pros and cons. It is not a simple process.

I'll start with the fact that his hands shake, continuously and uncontrollably; I witnessed them shake on numerous occasions and when I asked the staff about the hand tremors, I was told that the Dr takes magnesium before surgery to reduce the tremors.

With my silicone story, I started experiencing mild localized discomfort, some discoloration and thinning skin around the size of 2 quarters. After numerous surgeries with Gallerani over a 2 year period, I have constant pain, a compromised lymphatic system and complete disfigurement and lower leg swelling. The Dr has given me many reasons as to why my legs now swell, ranging from too much water, not enough water, loose leg muscles and one time he ACTUALLY said the moon position,,, yes THE MOON!

Gallerani also performed a procedure on me without my consent, this is noted in my hospital O.R. report ( I was under general anesthesia and couldn't consent).

The day after my surgery, the staff excitingly informed me that he performed a Rotational Flank Flap without charging me. (I had never heard of this procedure prior). Unfortunately, this non-consented procedure became necrotic, calcified, painful and completely disfiguring.

Over the past 2 years he has tried fixing the problem HE CREATED and CHARGING ME. The last time he aspirated an area, his hands were shaking so profusely, I thought he would inject the wrong spot.

In closing, I would suggest not to remove the silicone unless it is absolutely necessary. If you are skeptical about whether his hands shake, just go for a 300 dollar consultation and judge for yourself, look at his hands.

So far I have spent in excess of 50 thousand dollars and I am in a worse and more PAINFUL place that prior to the surgery.
