Hello ladies and gentlemen,
Just a little update since the last time I wrote about my biopolimeros/silicone removal. I’ve decided to get reconstruction surgery this year. The doctor I chose to do this procedure with is Carlos Gómez in Cali, Columbia. I sent my deposit in today which I’m excited because it’s the first step. I’ve researched and I’ve spoken to a few ladies on here and I’ve gotten some great feed back. I appreciate every single one of you and hope to continue updating you girls on my journey to a normal life. I’m not going to sit here and pretend to be all jolly cause god knows I’m terrified. Lol. But I just want to be able to fit my clothes and look ok again. If anyone has had surgery with this doctor and can share some more light regarding his work that would be amazing. also if anyone can share their experiences as far as how they prepared for this surgery would be awesome. Sending lots of love and prayers to those still dealing with this nightmare.

Hi everyone,
The reason for my review is to share my experience with having silicone injections removal. I had the silicone for 4 years I started to notice discoloration of my skin and pain when I sat down for long periods of time. I reached out to dr. Gallerani and within a week I had an appointment and was ready for surgery.
I was anxious and had very bad anxiety over this and this is why I decided to do everything so fast. I just wanted this stuff out before it got worse.
Fast forward to 6 months later I feel great health wise but a little discomfort when sitting or doing light activities. Nothing to worry about I was told.
I am now looking for a doctor to do my reconstruction with and I came across a Doctor by the name of Carlos Gomez. Can anyone give my some insight regarding this doctor. I have seen lots of reviews on here saying he’s amazing but I wanted a more personal convo regarding his work. Only because I was told I needed implants and I’m not to sure of going that route.

Im healing great. The only thing is that after 2 months my skin got a little discolored around the incision. I was told that it sometimes happens and it can be removed easily. I can def say at the beginning I didn’t think it was going to get better plus I’m very inpatient at times. The healing process is long but honestly now I feel great. I feel no pain at all and I’m back to doing normal activities except exercise.

Dr. Gallerani is expensive but don’t get me wrong he is worth every dollar. But, I’ve seen some of his recon pics and I wasn’t really in love with the results. I figured I’ve done the hardest part already which is removing the silicon with him. Plus after speaking with Dr. Gomez and he explained why I would need the butt implants it just made sense. Not saying I’m with the implants but I’m not totally against it either. I just want more info before I actually go through with it.

I'm located in Tx. I'm thinking on going with Dr Katzen for removal. Yes Gallerani is very expensive.

I'm looking to get reconstruction. I had my removal done with Gallerani back on Dec 2014. I live in NY...I'm debating on having Dr. Matthew Schulman(in NY) and Dr.Gallerani(in Florida) doing my reconstruction. Which other doctor in NY is good for reconstruction?

I too am looking to get reconstruction done. Searching for a Dr has been difficult. I was looking into Dr Delvicchio who is located in NY. I know someone who had reconstruction with him and her results are amazing. I did hear Gallerani does good reconstruction but I haven’t been able to find any before and after pics.

Dr. Gallerani has limited pics of before and after reconstruction pics. Honestly, I dont want that big scar on my back.Im not impressed with his before and after pics either. He did my removal but just did a small butterfly incision in between my glutes. I prefer Dr.Matthew Schulman just because I like his before and after pics...I think that's as long as he gets rid of my love handles that was created after the removal I will look much better...cant wait till this while journey is over.

I completely understand how you feel. I have been looking into several doctors for reconstruction but many don’t want to do a bbl if you’ve had silicone removal.

Please don’t do it , you will live to regret it. It’s not worth it. Save your money & get a bbl if you want a bigger butt, but don’t ruin your health for a butt. I am talking from experience.

If you want a bigger butt save your money take your time do a bbl DO NOT GET SHOTS . Imagine you pay your money your body looks good in cloths but you can’t wear a bathing suits because you have lumps or discoloration. Imagine feeling tired all the time with pain in your butt. Please don’t do that to yourself.

Yessss please don’t do it!! My ass is black and I’m brown skin . So ugly,disgusting and deformed looking. I will never been seen in a swimsuit or naked. You won’t catch me. I can’t wait for my reconstruction.
