Where do I even begin. Dr. Karamanoukian is simply in a league of his own.
After years of searching for answers and seeing countless doctors who couldn’t help me or didn’t truly listen, finding Dr. K has felt like the biggest blessing. I came to him for removal of an unknown foreign substance that had been injected into my lips years ago under the false pretense of being FDA-approved filler. It was silicone. And it was destroying my health.
His office is absolutely stunning — the space immediately put me at ease when I walked in as a nervous wreck — and from the moment of my consult I knew he was the doctor to perform this surgery. He has done over 2,500 of these procedures. That experience is immediately apparent in how he speaks about his work, how he approaches complex cases, and most importantly in his results.
He performed a highly complex bilateral lip reconstruction on me that required a level of expertise very few surgeons in this country possess. He approached my case with both precision and genuine compassion. I understood going in that there were no guarantees my health would improve — we were removing a substance, not treating my other conditions. But I knew I had to try. And if nothing else, at least my lips would look better and not botched anymore.
