Loving my skin

mylenejoe
WORTH IT$2,500
I am finally comfortable, no more bump or pain. I love the way my skin texture looks. Everyone keeps asking me what I did and why I look so good. I highly recommend this procedure to anyone looking for a little pick me up but not yet ready for surgery

Thank you for giving updates as this really helps!

I got a consult for this, but am concerned there may be a bit more healing than the general consensus states (ie slight bruising that can be camoflauged with makeup). Can you share with us if you went to work the next day? Or did you stay out of the public eye for a bit? If so, how long? I think you look terrific and I sooooo need this procedure.

Stick with fillers and Botox for the same results - only guaranteed. I wouldn’t worry about the recovery - I’d worry about the results

Fillers will not work for every situation, unfortunately. Take for instance, my saggy neck. But this procedure would.

Trust and believe - you need surgery for your neck. Not this Silhouette nonsense.

Still have pain after 9 days

mylenejoe
I am still getting sharp pain in corners of my mouth when I laugh or chew. I have a lump where the initial needle went in. Hoping it all gets better with time. I still love the results just more uncomfortable than I thought

Have you asked your doctor about the lump? I'm worried that it might be a small infection
March 8, 2019
The lump is not red or painful. It’s not oozing fluid. Those are signs of infection. I think it may my inflammation. I will see the doctor on Saturday. Thanks for your concern

Okay, good <3
I hope you heal well

Still have a little pain and bruising

mylenejoe
Just a quick update, I have a little pain that hasn’t gone away. The pain is where the threads are anchored. It’s a very funny sensation in the corners of my mouth. I can feel the pulling. Very weird. I hope it goes away soon. So far I like the results.

It’s been 9 days. I still have a sharp pain the corners of my mouth especially when I laugh or chew. I also have this funny lump where the initial needle went in. I am hoping this goes away. Other than that I love the way it looks.

I had this done a year and a half ago. The one thing she told me was I had to limit my facial expressions. That was very important. Mine looked great about 2 1/2 weeks later. There is really more down time than is advertised. Wish it lasted longer.

how long did it last? Thank you

How long did your insta lift last? And was it worth it for the price?

How long did it last? Did the sutures build collagen as they are supposed to?

I provide this treatment in my practice. Patients that I treated a year ago still have correction. If full correction is made at the time of the initial treatment, the outcome will last for over a year and a half. I tell my patients that it’s not going to disappear overnight; it’s going to be a gradual change and you don’t go back to baseline. You’ve produced collagen but you are also still aging so need to expect a touchup around 18 months.
