I consider myself extremely fortunate to have Dr. Manolis Manolakakis as my surgeon. I chose him because he’s a specialist in maxillofacial surgery and I felt more confident having a doctor who only deals with facial issues. He’s truly amazing, dedicated, takes pride in his work and is completely non judgemental. I had a lower blepharoplasty with a mid-face lift and couldn't be happier with the results. I was approaching 50 and after years of looking tired due to excess skin folds under my eyes, I finally made the decision to do something about it. It was very important to me to improve my appearance but not change it. I loved the fact that Dr. Manolakakis emphasizes subtlety in his techniques. He fully explained the procedure and what to expect afterwards. Everything went exactly as he had explained with no post op issues and after 2 and a half weeks, all bruising had gone completely. He was there 24/7 for me, answered all of my concerns and made me feel so special. He and his entire staff were wonderful. I wish I’d had it done years earlier!

Thank you! No fillers other than my own fat taken from underneath my eyes was used. Dr. M preferred this than artificial fillers.

Oh I see he repositioned your undereye fat. How about the mid face, how did he lift it?

I had a couple of incisions between my temple and top of my ears - one on each side which are totally invisible as they are in my hair. As far as I know there are different techniques to do a mid face lift depending on what else you may be having done at the same time. I was very happy with the results and it looked very natural.

You look beautiful and thanks for sharing. I have a consult for both upper and lower eyelid surgery in a couple of weeks. I already had fat transfer around my eyes and they look better than before but there's still hollowness. What did your Dr. do to get rid of the wrinkles around lower eyelids?

Thanks so much. Dr. M did the mid face lift to avoid any hollowness around the lower eyes. He repositioned fat under the eyes also. Good luck with everything!
