Hi! So I’ve been knowing the day would come one d...
So I’ve been knowing the day would come one day when I needed to get a lift. I’ve had larger breasts my whole life and have ranged from a small D all the way up to a DD. Right before surgery I was a small D, weighed 129, 5’3 in height. I decided to just go ahead and do it bc they were starting to look sad! And who doesn’t want to wear a cute backless dress or any bikini ever made?!
I thoroughly believe I made the right choise, even if I’m typing this on my very first post op day!
As far as pain goes— upon waking up, I was in tremendous pain thanks to a drug allergy. I couldn’t the standard medicine used at that time. Then driving home was pretty miserable (especially in a Mustang!!). After the first couple of hours, I felt completely fine! I took the Norco, ibuprofen, & some phenergan. I went to the grocery store (obviously didn’t drive), cleaned up a little, and was thinking this is cake!! But I definitely over did myself bc not to much later I was in so much pain! Especially my right aeriola incision. I changed my dressed due to the amount of blood on the first one (I’m a nurse, so I felt comfortable changing it) trying to help it, NO. I also have to Pinrose drains, which are pretty unpleasant, but not unbearable.
My boyfriend took off to help me so I got a sponge bath before I changed my dressing and that made me feel a lot better!
My only issue thus far is that one insicion hurting so badly. The Norco 5/325mg, just doesn’t work well for me. I called my close friend who is a pain management doc and he says for any kind of breast aug, muscle relaxers & high dose NAIDS would work great. He also old me some people just don’t get my relief from certain pain meds, and to ask to change it to maybe Percocet. So I’ve left a message with my doc. I’m telling you, this stuff hurts so badly, that I took the Lunesta that was Rx thru my PS and still could sleep more than a few minutes without being in pain. So I’m hoping and praying she can give me something to get relief from this hell!
Also, since I did change my dressing, I went ahead and got 2nd day pics (PS wants me to send it to her nurse-standard procedure!)
When I did see them though I almost cried!! I was so happy to see them not saggy any longer but was also just thinking “but I wanted way bigger!!” Even though I know they drop and look bigger at just a week!
I used Dr Holley Wall in Shreveport, LA. I would highly recommend her. She was so easy going, easy to get along with, very thorough and the whole facility made me feel comfortable. My only issue was that I felt I was rushed out of post op. I was gone after opening my eyes for 5 whole minutes. She gave me a pain med I can have, pulled my IV and told my bf to grab the car! I was in tears just FYI in pain and couldn’t even sit there long enough to have it set in. I understand how staffing works, & I’m sure she needed the bed but it made the whole post op experience way worse than needed. I was already terrified bc I wanted to see everything and make sure it wasn’t like huge or disfigured, things like that! ???? but I have no complaints about the doc and up until that point, the nurse was great too! Bf says I was in post op for 45 min. Even tho I paid to be in there for up to 4 hours, I was still thrown out. I’ve had surgeries before and it wasn’t like that at all!
So back to the lift and implants, I ended up getting Inspira Gel Implants (I believe). One side was 360 cc and other was 375 cc, due to my breast being slightly uneven. I’ll post some pictures of my day one posr op now! Disclaimer about pic, there are a bunch of brown steri trips from the blood under the white, so it makes my aeirola look way bigger than it really is!

I used Dr Holley Wall in Shreveport, LA because she was referred to be by many friends. I would highly recommend her. She was so easy going, easy to get along with, very thorough and the whole facility made me feel comfortable. My only issue was that I felt I was rushed out of post op. I was gone after opening my eyes for 5 whole minutes. She gave me a pain med I can have, pulled my IV and didnt even let the meds kick in before I was leaving to go on a +bumpy* ride. I don’t blame her, as a nurse I know someone else’s probably needed a bed or something. But it was still very unpleasant.
