So, I wasn't going to make one of these. I've ready many, but have even been the type to journal experiences like this.

I just want to say on day one, for the first twelve hours I slept. Then I went out with my mom and came home. The pain is mild and mostly just pressure. I think my regular exercise helped a lot. I'll keep ya posted

24 hours post op

Yesterday felt like I'd done a hard core chest workout. One thing I did pre-op that I felt significantly helped the pain was workout my back and shoulder muscles more than usual. I've needed no help around the house. I got off my pain meds and actually drove my mom around for a bit bc it was dark and stormy. I was careful to keep my elbows in and use both hands. Today I'm a bit more sore than yesterday but I'm continuously stretching

48 hours later

This morning I took off my dressings and saw my boobies for the first time! Incision site looks good, put on my new bra from beautiful contours. Headed down south to move. I start school tomorrow, and my sister and mom are helping with the move. Took some pain meds this morning as a precaution for the 4 hour drive but really feeling imimal pain. Just started my massages

3 &1/2 days later

First day of class. Pain is much less now. Its humid and hot outside, and maybe I'm paranoid but the scars are kind of itchy after walking around in the heat and humidity. My mucked feel less tense towards my upper chest and armpits. Driving is easier. Not being able to workout is driving me nuts. Also,I forgot to mention in addition to my meds I've been taking vitamin D and E

Almost 2 weeks post op

I have finally gotten comfortable with my new boobies, and I went to the gym today! I stuck to lower body and didn't go as long or challenging as I used to. I know its recommended to wait 2-3 weeks. Also, my implants are still very high. How long did it take for y'all's to drop? My husband comes home from deployment in two weeks, and I would really like them to drop by then. Also, what workouts did y'all start with post op?

13 days out, not nearly as sore but they're still so high
Shreveport Plastic Surgeon

The staff was extremely professional, and kind. I'm not a big fan of needles (the irony) and they kept me distracted with conversation while putting in my IV
