I've been wishing I had larger breasts since I was in high school. I'm an A cup but have been wearing a B cup of the maximum pushup bras from Aerie for years to make it look like I had a little bit of something! I never thought I'd do it this early in life but I'm so excited that I have! My Husband and I went to 2 consultations and the 2nd surgeon I saw made me feel so comfortable. I was able to have Vector Imaging done in her office and we played around with different implants and sizes until we narrowed it down to 2 different sizes of the Natrelle Inspira Style SRM implant. This imaging was extremely helpful! I definitely recommend going to a surgeon that provides this option!!
I'm a nurse as well as a personal trainer on the side. I was definitely terrified and nervous as heck going into this! It was so different being the patient instead of the nurse. Ya'll, I was nervous about getting an IV.... Something I've done to my patients hundreds of times...
The staff at the surgery center were amazing! They made me feel so comfortable. The nurse had the Bair Hugger on the stretcher warmed up for me before I got into bed.. used lidocaine to numb the area before she started my IV.. talked to me about Christmas plans and other non-surgical topics to keep my mind off of the surgery.. and allowed my husband to stay in the preop room and hold my hand through everything! It's those little things that make people feel so relaxed and stress free.
The CRNA came in the preop room just before they rolled me back to surgery and told me what medicine he was going to give me and what to expect throughout the entire process. As he was wrapping up, he pushed some Versed and I was off! I don't recall anything that made me uncomfortable at all. I remember seeing my preop photos up on a huge screen in the OR room, a nurse putting TED hose on my legs, and the amazing CRNA giving me oxygen then later telling me to take deep breaths in!
Next thing I know, I'm opening my eyes, a nurse is smiling at me, and I slur my words while I'm asking her where my husband is. She told me where I was and that surgery went extremely well, then left to grab him. Before she took my IV out she made sure that I wasn't hurting anywhere and that I was nauseated. We had a 3.5 hour drive home so she gave me some demerol and gel Phenergan before taking out my IV and helping me into the wheelchair. The drive was great! I had saltines, sprite, tylenol, Norco, water, and a plastic mini trashcan just in case! I never got sick and I'm feeling great over all. I feel like I killed a chest day at the gym for like 5 hours!
I'll update y'all as my recovery progresses.

Still feeling great! Breasts are riding very high right now as expected. My surgeon called to check in and make sure I was feeling ok. Really appreciate that! Husband has been an amazing help :)
Not really having much pain right now. Keeping ice on them and taking all my medications as prescribed. I am taking the PRN Norco as well just so I don't start hurting in the middle of the night.
