Having boob greed, but I'll get over it. Healing nicely. Super soft. Shocked how soft they are since they are saline.

Having some serious boob greed this week. I wanted a downsize but this was a little more than I expected. I should've done more research. I love that they are very soft and natural but bummed out a bit with the projection. I go through phases. One week I'm okay and next week I'm not. Lol

Hi there, Got your PM and thought I'd respond here. First of all I think you look fantastic! Your shape is beautiful! Of course I realize it's what you think that's the most important thing. Sorry to hear about the "boob greed". Some positives to consider: the smaller the implant the better (longer) you will retain the lift according to many PS. A breast lift does not change your skin type; and the fact you had ptosis with before... going bigger may not have been the best option, imo. Just curious do you have any before pics to share? The other thing to consider is a larger/heavier implant would have put more weight/stress on the breast lift incisions which may not have been helpful with your overall healing. Your do appear to be healing very nicely. Just curious do you plan on doing any kind of scar therapy? Talk later. :-)

Btw, I also want to mention one other thing. It seems you have a tan or appear to have darker skin on your upper poles (only) in your pic. Your lower poles looks very white. Is this the lighting or have you been tanning your upper poles? Either way I’m inclined to think the darker tone in the upper pole may be affecting the overall appearance (in your photos) perhaps making your upper poles look smaller than they really are. Not to mention breasts often look smaller in pics. Photos are two dimensional (giving a flatter appearance); whereas in real life our breasts are three dimensional. Lighting and angle can also affect how they look in pics. When I take pics I try to shooting my breasts from straight on angle with lighting coming from the front as well. I also like to take side view and three-quarter angle pics to get a realistic view of my upper to lower pole ratio looks.
One other important thing: I’ve read in the doctors Q and A section here that you want to avoid exposing your breast lift incisions to sun; UV rays can darken your incisions and make them worse. Of course a rub on (temporary) tan should be ok, but even then you want to be careful about any products/chemicals your putting on your breasts incisions while they’re still healing. Wishing you the best! :-)

Thank you so much for your info. I was in Hawaii 2 months before the procedure. I hold a tan for a long time. :). The original tan line was above the nipple. Once she did the lift that tan line moved. I don't have much upper pole. My is suggested moderate profile. I'll take more pictures from different angles. Thanks for the suggestions. Not doing any scar therapy right now because I heal very well. Right now, I'm having an issue with the sports bra. It's causing some irritation. I have one more week and I'm throwing it out. :)

Interesting about the tan line. If you can imagine your upper pole being as light as your lower pole (which appears very white) it would probably look fuller, imo. However even the way it looks now it’s still a very nice shape. If your bra is causing irritation you may want to speak to your PS sooner than later. Some PS (such as my own) provide bras for comfort only and not for compression; some believe too much compression can affect the lymphatic flow of the breasts which may not be good for healing. Also some brands of sports bras (i.e. fruit-of-the-loom) tend to wear small. My own PS provides patients with front closure fruit-of-the-loom sports bras; however, they gave me a couple sizes larger (than I normally wear) due to the fact they wear small. And even with it being larger my very 2nd post op I felt my bra was uncomfortable. I actually put a call into my PS’s after hours line regarding this. My PS call me back and told me to unhook some of the front closure hooks so the bra would be more comfortable. Of course every PS has different instructions regarding bras. It’s do with your own PS recommends. Good luck. :-)

Hi! You give the best advice! Good point about the upper pole and tan lines. I'll post some more pictures from different angles. I am very petite. The size is probably good for my frame. Just kickin' myself because I didn't ask enough questions about CC's. My ps kept saying she would make a decision once she removed my old implants. I just trusted her and didn't ask too many questions about cc's. Just mad at myself. I should've done more research too. Thanks for your input on the bra. I agree with you 100 %. Hope all is well with you! Don't worry about typos at all. :)

You´re healing so nicely! I had a lift almost two months ago and my scars are still ugly. What do you apply to them? How many cc´s downsized?
December 23, 2017
Hi there! Thanks! I didn't apply anything. My ps doesn't recommend any treatment unless necesSary. She's into natural healing. I also don't have a history of keloiding. She wanted me to take zinc and vitamin c before and after surgery. Great for skin repair.
My first augmentation was 19 years ago. I couldn't remember size and ps didn't have my records. My current surgeon told me I had 325 which could be filled up to 375. Based off that, she decided on 300 cc but honestly I find it hard to believe. I was really big before. I was a D with really bad scar tissue. Having capsular contracture makes them appear larger and over the muscle placement. I keep questioning whether or not that was size now that I have 300 cc. Filled to 330 cc.
I'm going to post my before pictures next week. I find the difference to be very dramatic and I told her slightly smaller. I should be excited that they are super soft and incisions are healing nicely. Recovery was so easy too. I'm sure having a smaller implant helps with recovery. I obsess about it daily. Lol. It gets a little depressing when I put on an old shirt. I have to wear slight padding to get the look I want. I will eventually get over it. I am in mid forties and my priorities were to eliminate cap contracture, better mammo results (couldn't compress with the scar tissue) and a natural look. My ps also went with a moderate profile. I think I could've had low profile. Not sure. Less projection with moderate profile. Hope I didn't bore you to death. :). I'll be posting more pictures soon. Happy Holidays!

I´ll just save your story to get the notifications once you update :)

Google “Spanish to English translator...” and you’ll find out what she’s said. LOL.

December 24, 2017
Ohh sorry!! lol ! Spanish is my language, sometimes I use the translator when I do not know how to say some words in English, I think it was copied badly.
That what I said above: I think your PS did a more than excellent job! Size looks great for your body, think that with this size that will avoid future problems and will stay better in the long term. And you can always count on a push up bra for that "oohmmmp" when you need it. I also found recovery much easier with a small implant. I have an approximate appointment with my account to help me take a vitamin C supplement to help with recovery. I'll save your story to receive notifications once you update

Sorry lol was for MDlg5.
Ms. [RS bleep]- Thank you for your response! Also look into a zinc supplement as well. Research is it first.
You are right about a push up bra. I felt since I spent so much money I should have to buy push-up bras. I guess in the long run it is better and I don't plan on doing this again. :)

I also forgot to
Mention that some of my favorite tops don't fit. That's kinda depressing. I asked for a slight downsize. I asked for moderate c. I think I'm a full B/ small C. My ps did a good job but I think she wanted to go smaller. She said she would base her decision based on what implant size she takes out during surgery. I should've done my research and picked the size. I told her I was leaning towards the next implant 330-360. I should've put my foot down but who knew I would be unhappy with the size. I couldn't do ricers because this was a revision.

They are very soft. Incisions are healing VERY nicely. Felt some thickening on part of one incision but I was able to massage it. It's completely flat now. I have some on and off greed, but I realized for my frame they are perfect!
