Sharing my Liposuction and Rhinoplasty Results!

WORTH IT
I had my surgery back in April but I only decided to upload it now because I wanted to see how everything settled.

I found Girin Clinic through Purse Forum and Instagram and loved how they even offer me airport pick-up and hotel help, which made traveling for surgery so much easier and less stressful.

We started with a WhatsApp consultation, and then we scheduled an in person consultation.

I visited the hospital for consultation and checkups and although the clinic was busy, everything felt organized. The in-person consultation was detailed and reassuring. My doctors were Dr. Kim Song Heon for rhinoplasty and Dr. Park Deok Jun for liposuction, both professional and informative. I had an interpreter with me the whole time and she was very helpful.

Regarding post-care: there was a small issue with my pressure garment due to my long torso, but they custom-made a new one for me and I wore it for about a month.

1month post-op. was the hardest, i thought i wasnt gonna make it . There were moments when I felt uncertain about the outcome. Taking off the stitches hurt!! bc i have a low pain tolerance. My rhinoplasty was still super swollen, appears slightly tilted to the left and it's hard as a rock/numb. However, my doctor has reassured me that this is due to the swelling and my thicker skin. Therefore, I will need to be patient and wait at least six months to a year to see the final results.

My lipo def on the other hand, seems to be healing more quickly, and I can already see a noticeable improvement. Finally I don't have to wear the pressure garment 24/7 but do have it on during the day. I do experience some restrictions around my waist, but I understand that I am still in the early stages of recovery.

Both doctors have confirmed that everything is healing as expected, which gives me confidence in the final outcome.

At 3 months post-op, I still experienced swelling on my nose. I have noticed a tilt to the left is still there. I do feel my nostrils look a bit narrow and my tip is still super hard/numb, but it has noticeably decreased. The clinic has assured me that irregular swelling is normal and it's a longer process due to what's been done.

The liposuction results are evident, and everything seems to be healing as anticipated. My lymphatic masseuse even complimented the quality of the work, noting that I do not appear bloated or have uneven skin, unlike many other patients she has treated.

My only concerns on my stomach are the unusual sensations I feel in my lower back and occasionally in the lower stomach. I discussed this with the clinic's contact, who explained that these sensations are part of the healing process, indicating my body's reconnection. Therefore, I have no worries. I am eager to see what the coming months hold for me.

Having reached five months post-op, I've observed a significant reduction in the size of my nose. While I appreciate the shape that is developing, I feel the bridge might be a bit too prominent. I'm hopeful it will settle further. Currently, the tip of my nose remains firm but I can finally feel it better, still leaning to the left, and I still experience limited movement, which gives me optimism that it will continue to refine over time. My primary concern revolves around my right nostril, which seems somewhat blocked. I've consulted with my clinic contact, and they attribute this to lingering swelling. Although they've offered a check-up, I'll have to wait until a year, since I live outside the country. Regarding my stomach area, I've noticed a definite reduction in size, and I suspect further changes will be minimal. My only concern is the presence of some loose skin, which I think is due to my age. I'm optimistic that consistent gym workouts will help improve this. other then that i can't wait for the following months to come.

Now:

My concerns are:

Nose tip still leaning towards the left

Nose bump still on the right side of my nostril

Inner nose bump still on the right side of my septum

difficulty breathing from the right nostril

I am hoping these issues will subside and my nose will correct itself.

Regarding my lipo, I have improved mobility and flexibility. Previously, it was uncomfortable to bend, move, or jump, and stomach sensations were restricted; these issues are now gone. What I'm currently focusing on is tightening my stomach skin, which has become loose due to the liposuction. I'm hopeful that diet and exercise will improve this.
