8 years later, still in love w my nose

I strolled into Dr Weinfeld's office in 2016, self conscious of my nose hump, bulbous tip and had difficulty breathing. I've heard horror stories of botched nose jobs, that ended up super cute looking but at the price of worsening their breathing or collapsing, so I did my research and settled on a consultation w Dr W. Dr Weinfeld examined my nose, recommended a septoplasty/rhinoplasty, and made me feel super comfortable by explaining what exactly he was going to do to rebuild my nose from the inside so I could breathe and have a better nose structure, but also help me achieve a balanced look so I wouldn't feel self conscious anymore either. I booked the procedure, crossed my fingers, and here we are, 8 years later, still in love w my nose and finally writing a review.
So here's what to expect: I was down for 2 weeks before the cast came off and stints came out (keep those moisturized w saline if you want them to come out painlessly!). swelling took a solid 6-12 months to fully go down, but most of it goes away early so its not that noticeable. I had no feeling in my nose tip for a year; it took some time for the nerves to all come back but they eventually did. Those are just side effects that sometimes happen.
Over the years, I've gotten compliments on my nose; people tell me I have a perfect nose. I'm not a mouth breather anymore when I'm running or sleeping, I don't wake up stuffy or choking on post nasal drip. I don't wake up with a sore throat from snoring.
