So thankful! Brought to tears with transformation of my breathing

As I was coming out of anesthesia and prone, as people are, to feel emotional and speak candidly and unfiltered, my husband filmed a humorous, albeit deeply sincere clip of me. In this video I am going on and on expressing my immense gratitude and thankfulness for having put my trust for a surgery I have waited 20 years to do, into the hands of Dr. Pacella and his remarkable staff. Post anesthesia can act as a truth serum and I sure had wonderful things to say… Due to two surfing injuries many years ago, my nose began to form visible scarring, coupled with increasingly difficult nasal breathing issues. It got to the point where I couldn’t breathe through my nose without feeling claustrophobic. From my first consultation, his intake staff and medical team made me feel so warm and welcomed. Their enthusiasm made me feel excited rather than nervous about the path that would come before me. Then, enter Dr. Pacella with his wisdom and phenomenal expertise. He is patient, supportive and kind in his approach. Never arrogant, or rushed. He truly listens to his clients to understand their goals for surgery. I am now four weeks post-op, and cannot count how many times I have literally been brought to tears with the transformation of my breathing. It is absolutely life-changing. I keep telling my family, “there’s air where I didn’t know air could be!” If this weren’t wonderful enough, the perfect shape and cosmetic artistry that Dr. Pacella achieved is beyond what I ever could’ve hoped. I absolutely love the appearance of my nose! It is a dream. So bringing it back to that first funny video after surgery… The thing that I kept repeating over and over was “how proud” Dr. Pacella’s parents must be of him and how proud all the parents of every person who works on his staff should be of them, because they are angels and he is an artist. Thank you to this phenomenal team for an outcome I could only have wished for!
