Dr Nizar Hamadeh Made my Dream Come True
My consultation with Dr Hamadeh, was very informative, he is knowledgeable with everything. His persona was warm, kind and caring. He listened to all of my concerns and fears and answered all the questions I had.
Elizabeth is Dr Hamadeh’s PA and she was there during the consultation. Elizabeth was very friendly and supportive.
It took me a little while to bite the bullet and have the surgery. Even though I did delay it by being hesitant with going through with it all. Elizabeth was very lovely and checked up on me every now and then. Which I appreciate a lot. As it was nice to know that the support was always there, even though I hadn’t paid any deposit yet.
It took me a lot of overthinking to do it, so I made myself do it. I paid the deposit, and got the ball got rolling. The next step was the pre-op call. That’s the first time I spoke with Kelly. Kelly is Dr Hamadeh’s nurse. Since then she’s has always been there, through call, text and email.
Next thing I know it was surgery day.
Elizabeth sent me a text, to wish me luck with the surgery. Kelly text me the night before surgery day to check up on me too. Which was real lovely from both Elizabeth and Kelly!
I arrived at the Harley Street Hospital all the nurses there were lovely and understood my fear, as this was my first ever surgery.
I signed all the papers, and Kelly was there getting me all tagged up, and numbed up ready for the Cannula.
Dr Hamadeh came in to check up on me and to have a general chat before surgery. It was nice to have a talk before the surgery as it made me feel relaxed and comfortable.
We had a good chat and laugh before Dr Poojary the Anesthetist came by to listen to my concerns and to introduce himself. He was lovely, always smiling and was very informative too. Dr Hamadeh came by again and mentioned it was time to walk up to theatre.
That’s when it all hit me, I got to the bed and looked around. It’s real, and it’s happening.
It made me freak out and I did panic, i had a lot of tears. Kelly has been there since when I paid the deposit, she walked to the theatre with me. Kelly being there in the theatre really helped me a lot, it made me feel a lot more comfortable. When I panicked and was crying, Kelly was there holding my hand and reassuring me, that everything is going to be okay.
Kelly and the other nurses as well were talking to me about anything to distract me from the Cannula as I feared it was going to hurt. (Cannula didn’t hurt)
I admit I was crying and fearing a lot, Dr Hamadeh, came over to check up on me, and to have a chat. He made sure I was okay before surgery. Dr Hamadeh was reassuring and got me smiling and also made me laugh too. His support and reassurance meant a real lot to me.
The support, understanding and the exceptional gentle care from Dr Hamadeh and his team was faultless.
I had the surgery and when I woke up, Kelly and the other nurses gave constant check ups to make sure I’m doing okay.
Dr Hamadeh came in to see me when I woke to see how I am doing post surgery. He was very caring and again made sure I was still smiling.
Since the surgery I had daily phone calls from Kelly giving me check ups to see how I’m recovering, and checking up how I am in general.
When the packing came out Kelly was gentle and quick, we had a good chat before and after the packing removal. Then I also got to see Dr Hamadeh again too, which was extremely amazing! He asked how I’m doing and was also impressed how I’ve not really had any bruising.
Cast off day came by so quickly, I was lucky enough to have Dr Hamadeh take the cast off. Elizabeth was there too. It was lovely seeing them both again.
The cast came off and Dr Hamadeh was very gentle with the whole process.
It was an emotional day, but the first time seeing my nose was a beautiful moment.
I am still on the recovery journey, I can’t fault any of it.
This whole journey is definitely going to be something I’m going to cherish forever. Dr Hamadeh made my dream come true, and Kelly and Dr Hamadeh’s team was there every step of the way.
Thank you so much to everyone involved, the outstanding exceptional care is incredible. I am so lucky to have Dr Nizar Hamadeh as my surgeon. He really is simply amazing, everything about him and his work is pure, caring and beautiful. I look forward to seeing you again for my 3 month check up in February.
I still can’t thank you enough for giving me the nose of my dreams.
Thank you for everything!
Jessica
