UPDATED FROM DCharlesworth

As requested, before and after pics

I don’t have many photos of me before, as I always used to try and cover my nose in make up or try and photograph at a certain angle. This is a photo of me in a hospital bed (unrelated to this surgery) and as such, shows a make up free “before surgery” look

Thanks for sharing your photos. I'm glad to hear you're happy with your results!

Hi

can you tell us exactly what he done to your tip/bridge etc, did he use any grafts?
It was some time ago now so forgive me if I can’t remember everything he said. I think where my septum was bent over, he shaved part of it off, realigned it using the excess cartridge as a splint. He said he may have to take rib or ear cartridge if there wasn’t enough excess but he didn’t need any more
Hope this helps, I’m sorry I don’t k ow too much more detail
no that’s perfect, thankyou

also are you allowed to mention how much you paid, so i have a rough idea of how much i need to save x
Including anaesthetist fees, hospital fees and Mr Paun himself, it was a little under £9000. But that was in a Harley Street hospital. I imagine the hospital and anaesthetist fees might be a little less if at a different location, I’m not sure. If I remember correctly, the initial consultation fees were deducted from the overall cost if you go ahead with surgery
thanks for the info

last question

did he do anything to your nostrils? or, cut them dow/reshape them?

thanks x
I don’t think he did, no. Just by taking the rotation out of the septum that lowered the nostrils

I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Santdeep Paun.
Meeting him at my initial consultation, I felt instantly filled with confidence. He is a very professional and thorough man. We discussed the procedure thoroughly and he explained all the potential risks but all the while making me feel assured he was capable and confident that he could achieve a result we would both be happy with.

And he didn’t disappoint when it came to performing the surgery!
He came to meet me beforehand and came to see me afterwards to allay any fears I may have had. Hearing him say he was happy with how the surgery went was enough for me to put any uncertainties to bed.
I met with Mr Paun a week later where we first got to see the results of surgery. Having suffered multiple previous sporting injuries and having had quite a significant breathing impairment as well as a noticeable deviation in my nose, I was only really expecting a slight improvement, it would’ve been wrong of me to expect the perfect result. But he only went and did it, it is literally perfect and the nose I would now choose. If I saw it in a magazine I’d ask to have him make it look like it does now!
We discussed aftercare and was given a lot of easy to follow instructions to aid the healing process and to reduce swelling.

There is no getting around the fact that surgery is expensive, and I was aware of this before embarking on my journey. I’ve met with a few surgeons, some who offered to perform the procedure at a price less than Mr Paun, but said themselves my nose was really badly injured and felt it was out of their expertise to be able to confidently achieve a satisfactory result.
Knowing what I know now, I would 100% do it all again and I 100% recommend Mr Paun as someone to get you the results you are hoping for and more
