2 years post op

I am now over two years post-op from my rhinoplasty and chin augmentation, and not a day goes by without me feeling incredibly grateful for having undergone these procedures. They have completely transformed my life, boosting my confidence and self-esteem. I feel like I was born again into a more confident version of myself after the procedure. Remarkably, my nose continues to look better with time. I owe a special thanks to Dr. Rahban, whose exceptional skills and care have made all the difference. Choosing him as my surgeon was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you, Dr. Rahban, for being the best plastic surgeon and for changing my life for the better.

9months/1 year post-op update:

I am currently almost one-year post-op. I had my septoplasty and chin augmentation on 2/04/2022. I stay true to saying that this was the best decision of my life! This procedure has COMPLETELY transformed my confidence. After my surgery, I had swelling and tension on my nose and chin (totally normal), as well as numbness on the tip of my nose. The swelling has completely gone away, and my scars are almost invisible. I would say that this procedure requires patience during the recovery, but it’s worth it!

Thank you, Dr. Rahban!

Here are some photos of me:)

Septoplasty and Chin Augmentation

SEPTOPLASTY AND CHIN AUGMENTATION
First off, I want to start by saying that Dr. Rahban is the BEST rhinoplasty surgeon. Getting a rhinoplasty and a chin augmentation has been the best decision of my entire life. I have wanted to get a rhinoplasty for a long time, it’s been a dream come true! I never liked my nose, and my feeling toward it never changed. So, I started researching what rhinoplasty was and how it would change the appearance of my face. Then I said to myself, “Ok, I'm doing this," so I started researching "best rhinoplasty doctors" and so forth. I finally had a list of the top doctors. Dr. Rahban was on the top of my list because he had the most consistent reviews and had lots of before and after photos. He also seemed like the most authentic and honest surgeon. People always tell me that I have a sixth sense when it comes to feeling people's energy, and right off the bat, I knew Dr. Rahban would be my surgeon. When I went in for my consultation, the staff was so friendly, and the energy was so positive. One of the main things that bothered me about my face was that I didn't look the same from the front compared to the side, and Dr. Rahban told me that without me even saying it! He then asked me about my concerns with my nose and said to me that I had a deviated septum (my breathing is so much better now) and a weak chin, so a chin augmentation would highly enhance my face. I really want to say that rhinoplasty is not just a cosmetic procedure but also an art form. Dr. Rahban is truly a master at his craft and has an artistic vision. You have to go to a surgeon that gives you a nose that fits your face. That's the difference between a good surgeon and a great surgeon who wants the best results for you. So it is crucial who you pick as your surgeon. I would STRONGLY like to reiterate that! As I prepared for surgery I researched, asked for people's opinions, and prepared financially, I came across people who would tell me, "Hey, why don't you go to a different country to get your rhinoplasty for cheap?" or “Why don't you go to a surgeon who isn't ‘expensive?’” You get what you pay for, and that's a straight-out FACT. My first thought would always be, why would I want to go for nothing other than the best for a surgery that will be performed on my face? There's no turning back. This is the face that I will have for the rest of my life. I'm not going to pay less for results that I’m not going to be satisfied with. I never paid attention to these comments because I knew what I wanted. With that being said, if you're thinking about getting a cosmetic procedure and the first thing you're thinking about is your financial convenience, then you're in it for the wrong reasons, and you should NOT get surgery. Your priority should be your well-being and getting great results. Again, I would highly advise anyone who’s thinking of undergoing a cosmetic procedure to go to a legitimate and good Doctor who is trustworthy and who you feel is a nice person. Surgery is no joke, and the recovery isn't pretty. If you don't have the money to get surgery with a good doctor, don't do it. The surgery itself is very stressful, and imagine worrying about whether the results will be good? Am I going to a trustworthy doctor that is looking out for my best interest or is just interested in the financial component of patients? This may sound a little harsh, but I think it's better to be safe than sorry. I think the price I paid for my surgery is a small price compared to how confident I feel and the fact that it’s a permanent procedure. I won't go into extreme detail, but surgery is something I always wanted to get done, and it was a personal goal of mine to accomplish. It has been a personal achievement that has shown me that if I put my mind to something, I can do it. I hope this inspires anyone who’s considering getting surgery to just go for it!
SURGERY: So the day of the operation everyone and everything at the surgery center was perfect. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Houston, was the nicest person ever, and you could tell she genuinely cares about her patients. The anesthesia process was a breeze. I just remember going into the operating, then waking up in the recovery room. The first day was the most painful. After the third day, the pain was minimal, it was more uncomfortable than painful. I had minimal bruising and some swelling. I would say to be patient with the recovery because you really have to take it easy.
RESULTS: I genuinely don't think I would've gotten the results with Dr. Rahban anywhere else. When you get a rhinoplasty and chin augmentation your nose stops being the most prominent feature on your face and everything else stands out more! Again, if you are considering getting a rhinoplasty, consider who you choose as your surgeon. Great surgeon=great results.
Overall, this experience has been absolutely LIFE CHANGING!!
I will post a nine-month to a year update.
These photos are 2-3 months post-op.
