The best doctor - I can now breathe so much better
ORIGINAL POST
Septorhinoplasty - best doctor!
WORTH IT
I needed a septoplasty and a rhinoplasty due to a very deviated septum and a crooked nose due to the deviation. I was searching for a doctor who is an expert in both septo and rhino. Ive seem many photos from different doctors, but most of the result photos showed the patient still having crookedness. I’m aware that fixing deviated septum may not result in a “perfect” straight nose bridge. However I was determined to find a doctor who can make it dang near close. I found Dr. Tamplen after seeing great photos of his work. And wow! I didn’t think “perfect” straight nose existed until I found Dr. Tamplen! He also doesn’t cater to a certain look, such as the “Barbie nose” that most doctors are doing. He gives you your own nose, but better! I highly recommend him! Just take a look at his work. It speaks for itself. You can tell he’s passionate and truly cares! I can now breathe so much better. Literally right when I woke up from surgery, I was already breathing better than prior to surgery. I was able to breath even with the splints in. Some days I couldn’t breath due to boogers and blood getting clogged. But after cleaning with nasal spray and q-tip, all good! I was terrified of pain and recovery. I have a very very low pain tolerance. However, I give this surgery a 2.5/10 for pain level. The pain wasn’t really pain, it was more discomfort from having the splints in your nose and having to sleep elevated and on your back. I actually felt more pain around my nose such as eyes, cheeks, teeth, and jaw. But it wasn’t that bad. I hardly bruised and swelled. Remember to take your arnica pills and bromaline pills few days before. I think that helped me tremendously in not bruising and swelling. Good luck on your surgery!
