Beautifully Sculpted Result. :)
I'm currently at 18 days post-op. My expectations of going through a rhinoplasty could not have been better surpassed by Dr. Hamadeh! Although my nose is still quite swollen at the moment, I can already see a dramatic result (that somehow has already grown on me!). I can see how natural and harmonious my nose already looks in proportion to my face, and it is not close to the final result yet. My surgery was an open rhinoplasty and involved a septoplasty, bulbous tip refinement, bridge narrowing, overall profile projection reduction, straightening of the nose profile and front bridge-to-tip alignment. It started with a fairly complicated case of: deviated septum, asymmetrical cartilage and bumps on the profile and sides of my bridge that gave my nose a slightly twisted/crooked look at the junction of tip to bridge (unknown/possible previous trauma), uneven breathing ability through the nostrils, and thick skin.
Upon my first consultation with Dr. Hamadeh, I felt full confidence that he understood my expectations whilst having a very comprehensive understanding of its (prior) shape and the suitable alterations to proceed with that would give natural and realistic aesthetic/functional results to improve breathing and fit my facial proportions. Although there was a couple of hours of delay to my operation time, he along with his team and Nurse Kelly Chapman, were very patient, sweet and upbeat, absolutely approachable and communicative throughout the entire process leading up to, quite literally, the operating theatre (OR). Definitely kept my nerves at ease. Continuing follow-ups and phone check-ins with Nurse Kelly, who has been so sweet and great at giving lots of advice, dispelling my post-op care concerns and answering any questions I've been having throughout the recovery process.
The swelling is quite significant following the surgery (particularly with open rhinoplasty) and discharge is still present, but past two weeks now, I can already see it changing day by day (I've attached a front view of Day 13 and Day 16 for comparison). Side profile views taken at Day 14. A few friends I know who have had rhinoplasties (all closed), and my dad who is a surgeon of a different specialty and has had a non-aesthetic septoplasty agree and can already see that Dr. Hamadeh did exquisite work. I couldn't be happier and more excited to see it continue to swell down closer to the final result. Surgical artistry -- thank you! :)
